Huh. Interesting idea, but I'm not sure about the implementation. Half the time I wasn't even aware that I was hitting a red circle except via the fact that my life was dropping, for instance, when a blue circle overlaid a red one. Other times, I seemed to lose life randomly, probably because something red was passing over me at the time. So, you need a little more explicit rules about what will and will not kill you. But it's definitely an interesting start. 2/5 +1 for the basic idea = 3/5.

Hadn't seen this game or these rules before, but it's interesting! Lots of variations and strategies. Graphics are also nice. You do need to put more explicit instructions into the game. You also need more separation between the levels than what is provided. Not at bad start at all, though. 3/5.

Running into the same problem as everyone else. Major lag in Firefox that prevents it from being particularly playable. It doesn't crash... exactly... but right after the logo, FF stops responding to input for 15 seconds or so, then appears to return to normal, except the game is really laggy after that. 2/5 until this bug is fixed.

Simpler than most point-and-click adventure games, but the art is nice and the atmosphere is pretty good. 4/5.

Cute, but doesn't really add anything to the genre, doesn't give enough upgrade options, nor really enough money to explore the upgrade options that are available. Lack of customization in general hurts it. It's decent for a first effort, though. 3/5.

Completely deserves the great rating and great comments it's receiving. Best game to be added to Kongregate in quite a while. A complete triumph, original and fun with awesome replayability. You should be very proud. An easy 5/5.

One of those games that's incredibly popular on Kongregate... and I will never understand why. It's a brainless little platformer and granted, the multiplayer aspect is fun. Maybe that's why it's so popular? In every other way, there really isn't very much to recommend it. Certainly, the profusion of hackers on this game should certainly keep people away. 2/5.

Yet another click-to-solve, easier than most, prettier than most. Still, this genre ain't original, no matter how many creepy little asides you add to it. As a matter of fact, I would prefer it if the creepy asides actually fit into the larger scheme of the puzzle, and the ones in this one... don't. Still, the art is really good. 2/5 for the game and lack of originality +1 for good art = 3/5.

Great game and a worthy successor to Shift 1. Just as clever and original as the first one, with lots of amusing little in-jokes and easter eggs. Not sure how you're supposed to complete the game in under 5 minutes, though, when the game handicaps you with an almost 60 second intro sequence. Maybe I'm missing something? Still, 5/5. Great work. :)

Excellent concept, but the execution is flawed in several areas. First, the good: this is an excellent strategy game... complex and requiring different tactics to be successful. There are fairly obvious weapon strengths and weaknesses, and if you try to spam a single unit, you'll generally fail. Individual battles are also generally fun and engaging. Now, the bad. There is too much luck built into the structure. Charges are hugely unbalancing, and there doesn't seem to be a good way to manage them. Rather than being randomly "ready," each player should get a specific number of charges that can be used at various stages of the game. The randomness of the charges means that there are MANY levels that have to be done over and over again. Money for winning levels also seems a bit random. This is a great game, but some of the execution problems drag it down. Call it 3/5. Hopefully, there will be a sequel, and it will address some of these issues!

Clever, fun, and original, with an interesting spin on the Portal motif. The simple graphics are perfectly suited to this game, and the difficulty is set perfectly. The mid-game commentary and the ending are also amusing. ;-) Well done, overall. 4/5.

It's clever and original, but also a little annoying. It's the sort of forgettable little puzzler that almost instantly gets a walk-through, is played once, and then is forgotten forever. The graphics and the game play are fine, but there's definitely something missing here. A good puzzler has to be both challenging and fun! This one hits the mark on the first, badly misses on the second. 3/5.

Best game to be added to Kongregate in quite a while! Excellent mix of strategy, action, and tactics. Difficulty ramping simply couldn't be any better, and there's just enough "oh crap" moments to challenge even the most die hard player. Wonderful mix of tower defense and defensive shooter, and the upgrades add interesting and varied options to the game. In short, a triumph! Easy 5/5. Keep writing games! You're now 2 for 2!

Hm. I'm incredibly on the fence about this one. It's the first helicopter game that really adds something new to the genre. Well done there! I thought I'd seen it all in helicopter games. And the difficulty ramping is acceptable. The graphics are pretty nice... you know, I'm not on the fence any more. Good game. :-) 4/5.

I gave this game another look when it rocketed up to close to a 4 rating, and found that I wasn't harsh enough the first time. It's a rip-off of a dozen other center-shooters, brings nothing new to the genre, includes an enemy type that's completely unfair (the purple square-arrow thing), and won't even let the player cut from the edge of the screen to the opposite edge, making it far too easy for the enormous floods of enemies at levels 8 and 9 to corner the player. Play Luminara instead. Play anything else instead. 2/5 -> 1/5.

Very clever! Fun little time-waster, simple to learn, hard to master and all that. I can't think of anything to improve it, other than creating multiple levels. Great job. :-) 4/5.

The first half-dozen levels are lots of fun! The concept is great, the implementation is great, and the upgrades available are both amusing and helpful. After about level 7, though, the game just becomes frustrating. The enemies never miss, the pars are ridiculously low (so you never get the par bonus), and the weapons are no longer nearly as good as the enemy weapons. So a great game that later becomes frustrating and annoying. Call it 4/5.

Fun stuff! A little too easy and almost no replay value, unfortunately, but that first couple of plays will eat up a good hour or two. Great game balance, great difficulty ramping, decent weapon choices, decent upgrade choices. Could use one more explosive weapon after the grenade launcher. Other than that, a great game! 4/5.

Yet another center shooter with worse graphics than most, less options than most, less fun than most. Why is it that everyone and his brother has to write either a twitch-avoider or a center shooter? 2/5.
