Good notes: Build accuracy early to help you aim... you can go far by just using basic shots to knock opponents out-of-bounds. Buying more men and buying everyone more health basically equals more money per win, as you get bonus money based on total remaining team health. Don't overestimate nuke, it's good but the big area can be trouble. Meteor Shower can be used without aiming it AT a planet... try to line it up so it'll hit multiple foes from far for big damage. Drill Bomb is EXCELLENT for knocking opponents out-of-bounds from most angles... it packs a big kick. Honestly, I beat most of the later game in 5 rounds or so by using Meteor Shower at range to kill multiple opponents every round. Practice. Don't be afraid to hit Reset (R). Don't be afraid to go back later to get a gold star if you pass one. With six men and high health, do level 1 over and over to earn big money fast. Good luck!
There should be a better star for coming in well under par... I just finished level 19 (par 10) in 5 rounds with a little non-planet-hitting judicious use of meteor shower to hit multiple foes from long ranges!
@dawooman: You might wanna check your info. Artillery comes with deluxe, holy grenade comes with Weapon pack 6, megadigger and plasma grenade are weapon pack 3. You can't get artillery and HG with one pack. @Gzusluvu: I'm generally fond of Packs 1 and 6. You may also want to try Deluxe (cheaper than a weapon pack for two months) to get a feel for those weapons.
Most of the time, there is only one route up, and you do not have time to correct yourself if you go the wrong way. The controls are awkward for anyone who isn't ambidextrous. Many ledges are small enough that one hit = death by falling. All in all a very disappointing and potentially frustrating game... for anyone who doesn't know better than to just say "1/5" and walk away.
he problem wih the idea of getting your xp if you're kicked... is that there's no way to prove who got kicked by accident and who got kicked on purpose. It'd be too easy to abuse and just further promote quitting mid-game.
Buying single weapons allows the player to stack the weapon assortment in their odds, making it more likely they'll get something they can use. That's not the point of the game, so you're not going to get it.
Developing content costs money, kids. I'm not paying for him to develop free content just so you can continue not paying, and I'll wager he sees it that way, too. Get a job.
@oman: Gunslingers didn't rely on the mechanism to fire the bullet, anyways. In a duel, the pull and aim are one motion with the gun hand while the other hand "slaps" the hammer, pulling it back far enough to have the force to detonate the cap but not so far back as to lock the hammer in place. The keys were to be sure your aim out of the holster was dead-on and to be sure to slap the hammer back enough to blow the cap... not enough force to the slap and the bullet wouldn't fire, too much and hammer would lock, requiring the use of the trigger. As often as not, the slap will not move the chamber so you'd need a bullet under the hammer anyways.
DigitalFatigue, you moron... the developers rarely involve themselves with comments, except to read them. If you're that determined to get pointlessly angry at someone, blame the other players, because they're likely the ones that voted yer comment down. Sheesh.
No free game coins. Proceeds from Deluxe, weapon packs and the like support this game, it's development, and the server it runs on. Deluxe is two friggin bucks a month, ask daddy for an allowance.
Connest issues may be related to Flash install issues. I use a desktop and a laptop, both with similar specs, but the laptop and it's installed software is two years newer. The desktop is on a massive fiberoptic pipe, but I use a few other applications at the same time. The laptop is on a low-end DSL connection, I run just SLL when I play, and SSL loads and plays lightning fast with no issues ever.
