@Cris15569: I can't say for everyone else, but I'm finally quitting SSL because I just spent all night trying to play... and haven't finished a single game because people keep quitting. There's no system in place to deal with serial quitters, and that really damages the public play value of it. I hope you enjoy it, and I'll be back once they've resolved it. Later!

I'm generally okay with Kreds options but this is a blatant cash-grab. 1/5

@Teuntie: This is not necessarily true. I suspect anchor drops are random and only (obviously) when you're hurt. I just finished another >$100,000 game ($135k this time), and I've seen rushes where I've gotten two or three anchors at a time... but I've also been through (at this count) three entire waves (a wave being all the ships before a boss, then the boss itself) where the only anchor I got was the one the Thunder (the real last boss) is guaranteed to drop, and I was definitely injured the entire time, and had six Loot bars. Perhaps you bought a loot upgrade and then happened to get several anchors quickly, but that was more likely chance and less likely because of the loot upgrade.

Edit to my last comment: Sentence 5 should read "You'll max your gun and you CAN'T get a better combination of the other stats..." =)

Ignore Jason24693. Always buy the best flags. When you restart, buy the most expensive flag you can and work your way down. Ultimately, when you can afford to do this, buy Flag 4, Flag 3, Gun 4, Flag 2 and Flag 1. You'll max your gun and you can get a better combination of the other stats, and starting with flags early not only boosts the loot your kills drop, but give you the magnets you need to vacuum it up.

Repair anchors are WAY too rare. I mean, come on! I can go waves without seeing one!

Flags are your number 1 friend. Keep in mind, they don't just boost other upgrades, they ARE full upgrades in and of themselves, and are the best bang for your buck period. Weapons upgrades, loot upgrades, ship speed bumps, fire rates and magnets (crucial, imo, for getting ahead... big loot doesn't matter if you can't collect it!) Whenever you can, buy a flag instead of anything else... and, when you're starting over with big money, start with the highest flag you can afford first and work your way down! Nowadays, I start with Flag 4 and Flag 3 right off the bat, and the boost to kill speed and loot intake is amazing!!! My only other suggestion is to buy Gun 4 as your third or fourth upgrade before more flags. Rate this up if it helps you!

Jennifer also requires mucho upgrades. The Infinity Race requires you jump from horizontal surface to horizontal surface rather than ride the ramping up... you can see a point or two where your Ninja buddies get stuck popping straight up because they hit the ramp, but if you just jump before you hit it you can get to the higher ground with minimal momentum loss. Super Villains also requires similar, but you have to judge when to jump... not enough momentum and you just hop straight up, while jumping on a slope can throw you backwards or forwards into a tumble. Remember to keep your back wheel down as best you can to get the push from Boosts and just don't take the slope up every time.

@crazyplayer123: Don't try to do Daft Lorna's challenge until you've pretty much maxed all the pertinent upgrades. I didn't really bother with Brakes until last (except Minigames, THAT I upgraded last), but, other than that, I upgraded Speed, Accel, Boost, Jump and Spin to max before I was able to beat her challenge. Good luck!

@Jacky999 and everyone else: The game DOES tell you how to do an Invert, and Tick-Tack, roll, air, and wheelie. It's right there when you start the Car Park... not even the Full Car park, the normal one you do as the... second race in the game iirc. It even has pictures!

@ericbloedow: Just relax. Don't speed through the course, and use the R key (reset) if you really miss one. Like many tracks (such as Infinity Race), you're often better off jumping to get to higher ground than using the up-slope to fling you over it. Tap the brake now and then if you feel you're going too fast, and remember: You don't have to finish first ofr it to count, you just have to not finish last. Really, it's not that hard.

WTB ability to have more than one of an item on board. I'd buy three level 4 flags and a level 4 gun.

My favorite combination and the order I get them in: Level 4 flag, Level 2 ship, Level 3 flag, Level 3 ship, Level 4 gun, Level 4 ship, Level 2 flag, Level 5 ship, Level 2 Fire rate. Why? Because if you get the 4 and 3 flags right off the bat, you get a level 3 weapon, good fire rate, good ship speed and magnetism, and the level 3 Loot stat ensures even the negligible great white sharks (the big fins) will drop at least one gold coin each. The level 2 flag is still great for the money, but by the time you have three upgrade slots on your ship, you'll want the massive firepower of the level 4 gun to get things done. Finally, the level 2 flag tops off your gun, as well as boosting fire rate, loot quality and magnetism, and the level 2 fire rate at the very end tops off your fire rate for mad slaughter. Good luck!

@66664444: yes, you can. However, honestly, it's faster to just get used to the pattern, and just duck behind them when they expand to hammer away on the sub instead. You might kill an eyeball or three during the fight just as collateral damage, but they just take too much effort to kill on purpose.

@Elfsiege: The flags don't augment your other gear, they're complete weapons/magnets/shipspeed/lootbonuses/etc in and of themselves. The first time I beat Thunder, I just used the top three flags together. Honestly, as a tip to everyone, your best value per dollar once you get access to the level 2 or 3 flags is to just buy flags immediately, starting with the costliest one you can afford. Starting the gam with a level 3 flag, then buying a new ship and adding the level 2 flag, then buying another ship and adding the level 1 flag, for instance, really gets things done.

I'm having a problem now, playing a new game on my laptop, where ALL the players do wheelies really heavily, and I'm only four tracks in! Seriously, with three ranks of upgrade in Speed, Accel, Boost, Spin and Jump, it's nearly impossible to keep Winalot's front wheel on the ground (he loses it completely off high jumps unless I roll), Bubble Pop Jim is uncontrollable, and even Boff has difficulty keeping his front wheel down unless I HOLD forward (right key, usually). I haven't had this problem before. I've made sure no keys are stuck, so that's not it. Help!

Ladies and Gentlemen: If you check Kongregate for "Cyclomaniacs 2 Hints and Tips," You'll find an interactive tour of CM2, including some vague hints about the strengths and weaknesses of each rider, what each stunt type is (for all of you who ask what Tick-Tacks and Inverts are), information about each minigame (including what to click for each one), and more (such as a tip on how to get the brain game to work, where to look for a free $200 right off the bat, and more!) TurboNUKE has been communicating with me concerning my concerns (see what I did there?) (even if it's mostly just to imply that I'm crazy), so I'm back for another go-round.
