What's with all the freaking ads, dude? We already know that this is a game series. Also, putting "Share" where the "OK" button normally is is nothing short of annoying.
"Submit score and achievements" OK... *click* "Highscore and achievement submissions can only be accepted if the game was played on Dig Your Own Grave." Piss off.
What's with the indestructible Hitler eggs on the last level? I swear, I hit ONE of them point blank with 8 FREAKING METEORITES and it just laughed them all off! It would sure be nice if the video walkthrough actually allowed you to play the video instead of just doing those spinning squares in the middle until the sun implodes.
OK... after another week of playing, it looks like the other items aren't necessarily so useless after all. Auto-click, however, does appear to be useless even when it's maxed out. I have no idea how many levels it takes, but I only have 4 items on the "Shop" menu now: Click Money, Click Quality, Income-Interval and Quality Multiplier x2. The worker power (whatever it's called... it vanished from my menu a few days ago) controls how often the ~amount is updated. Quality Multiplier controls how much is added per worker tick. Even with a quality multiplier at 54 levels of magnitude below my current cash, the combo of these 2 stats still makes the ~amount relevant. Once your software is done, about 10% of this figure is added to the income amount (this may be different at different levels), which then gets added to your score every time the Income-Interval ticker rolls over.
When Albert Einstein was asked to name the most powerful force known to man, there's a reason why he responded with "compound interest". Seriously, dude, the reset bonus is killing this game! Instead of using e as your base, how about calculating it with log base 2 instead, or even phi? At least then the worker power, and quite possibly even the click power, will be more in line with the Income-Interval power. The math is incredibly easy to do, too. All you'd need to do is divide what you're currently using by ln(2) or ln(phi), phi being the Golden Ratio, ie. (1+sqrt(5))/2. I've just barely gotten to level TY3 currency and the bonus that I'll get for doing a reset amounts to not much more than if I'd simply reset at Y3. Failing a change in base, how about multiplying the reset bonus by the award bonuses we've received? Surely they should be good for something, right? The way it stands now, however, anything other than Income-Interval appears to be completely useless.
How odd... Instead of reloading the page I tried going back to the searchwhere I found this and re-clicking on it, For some reason, after that, it updated perfectly. Nice troll there, Unity. :-/
"Unity Web Player update finished, but installed revision (5006002) is less than required revision (5018001). Please reinstall." Intersting, given that I downloaded and installed the latest update DIRECTLY FROM THE UNITY HOME PAGE no more than 5 minutes ago. I even made sure to close out of Firefox to make sure that there wouldn't be any conflicts during the install. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
Cloudmonkey98: "Unity is now Unsupported by Chrome.... etc." Yet another reason to hate Google. As if there weren't enough already... I swear, Google's pretty intent on becoming the next Sony, and not in a good way.
So what happened to the "compact mode" we were promised when this went online about 7 MONTHS ago? Sorry, dude, if I can't see the whole thing on a single screen, even switching to full screen mode, I don't play. 1/5.
PLEASE, dude, MAKE AN AUTOSAVE! I just lost about 12 hours of work due to the fact that you don't have one. Until that's implemented, this is getting a 1/5 from me.
I'm not sure if it was temporary glitch on my system or if you're just that good at fixing bugs, but it's working fine for me now. If it was you gittin' 'er done, then thank you. It's nice to finally see what's actually going on. :-)
Very cool game, but the password at the end is extremely frustrating, not only changing from one game to the next, but also apparently changing within the game itself, possibly depending on the position of the big switches? I especially love the beanie hat and the Black. I just wish I could remember where I got it from. It gives a whole new meaning to "Once you go black, you won't go back"! :-)
You eat the fruit by clicking on "eat?". There's an achievement not mentioned above: clicking on the church doors at the funeral gives you "The Doors".
