Suggestion: be more generous bout level unlocks. I'm stuck on one particular level....and now there's nothing to do except give up and stop playing or wait for a walkthough. I'd much rather be able to simply move on to other levels.
Ok, figured out the coin thing. Clicking on family members cycles through possible classes with some unlocked and some not. Visually, what's going on is not very intuitive.
...so very first thing I do upon starting the game is click the characters. Apparently doing so removes them and I have to pay to get them back? I refresh the page to start a new save and my coins are gone? Not sure what the intended behavior was but this is obviously broken.
To all developers: please STOP ...making ...scrolling ...text ...that ...we ...have ...to ...wait ...on ...every ...word ...to ...read.
Seriously. Stop it. Nobody likes it. Don't do it.
Badges...and so naturally my save file from the other day with the game completed is now gone. Not taking away the 5/5 rating, but seriously guys...that's as annoying as it was predictable.
Genre is overdone. The first 20 or 30 of these games I played...ok. Now? Seriously, just stop making these. Move on. We don't need another game like this any more than we need a pong or tic-tac-toe remake.
And...beat the game. Iron is the most needed resource. Gold, silver and titanium are a bottleneck in the mid-game, but once you can get to them you're unlikely to run out and need to hunt for it. At the end I had several hundreds each of the various gasses, gold and titanium. I did have to spend a good 20 minutes farming iron, emeralds and lava. The emeralds and lava go fast. Iron is the thing you'll want the most of.
There definitely comes a point where I don't care about resources any more and I'm just traveling from world to world looking for recipes. Unfortuantely that point seems to have come about halfway through the game, and I'm spending 5-10 minutes per planet just trying to find these artifacts.
...ok, problem solved. Since you have to have something selected to craft the thing you have selected, the solution was to "show all" and yes, I can craft several things I've never seen. Kind of unfortunate I didn't notice that sooner.
Either the RNG is being difficult or I did something very wrong. I've been playing for about two hours and have only now found the alcohol flask after having found everything else on that row. Also, I have aberrent matter, gloop, I can craft screws, bolts, casings, wires, and frame...and iron BARS, but I still haven't found and can't make ordinary iron lumps or chunks. Which is seriously inconveniencing my attempts to upgrade anything.
There's a walkthrough linked from the level select screen. You're welcome :)
