Interface is awful. Story is minimal. Graphics are awkward. Music is good. Overall, game is neither very good nor much fun. Looks like it was thrown together in a week using leftover graphics from something else.
Trophies should provide ingame benefits once earned, and have text descriptions when moused over. Build interface shouldn't require pressing x to select a different unit. Should be a way to exit to the menu from the level sect screen without starting a new game first. A few of the units appear vastly better than most of the others. Not a bad game, but needs work. And different music.
Nicely done, pretty...but destroyed by the usual "hunting for the pixel" gameplay, completely giving away the premise, and a couple especially weak "solutions."
Cruised through effortlessly up to the drive to central city, did that same level over and over....gave up, came back another time. Still couldn't beat it. Farmed RP, still couldn't beat it. Come back weeks later...still can't beat it. Too frustrating to be fun. Difficulty curve goes from effortless to smashing into a brick wall.
If you want all medals DON'T UPGRADE HEALTH until you've done the three heart challenge. Resetting your upgrades also resets your scores and map progress. Please uprate this comment so people don't have to start over after playing for hours...or days.
Why is there a time limit on levels? Having levels end for taking too long when you have to sit around and wait for things to spawn is an awful combination.
Needs an in game menu, save options and some kind of story. I stopped after the first 3-4 maps of doing exactly the same thing repeatedly with no indication of why I'm on this journey, and no hint of whether my progress would be saved if I didn't want to keep doing it for another hour or two to get through the very long trip. Needs more communication with the player. The way it looks now, you can do the first map...and you've seen everything the game has to offer. There might be more, but I have no incentive or reason to look for it.
Pretty, but fails in the fun department. Too simple, and not enough player interaction. This is basically an idle game that requires you to spend points.
5/5. Good sequel. But it's awfully brief. I finished without even having bought 7/10 ships, and 6/10 weapons, and beat the game with 3-slot helicopter and minigun only at level 6. Also, the end just sort of ends. After beating the final level it sees like somethign should happen. Story. "Yay you won." Bonus levels. *something*. As is when you beat it absolutely nothing happens.
Hitbox doesn't match graphic. Graphics are also oddly shaped and would be difficult to avoid even if they did match. Fans can spawn in ways that are impossible to avoid. A game about being a *rockstar* really should have music. Utterly simple, and gets boring after about 10 seconds. This is a decent proof of concept, but I'd recommend drawing from other avoidance games..Ffrantic, Reactance, etc. Look at Reactance. It's totally simple, black and white...but it's still fun. Try to incorporate more ideas from other games.
Very strangely balanced. Sometimes units that cost twice as much as others are far less effective, sometimes upgrading tech is counterproductive, and the kalishnakov unit is an instant game ender. Money and karma awards are also not intuitive. It seems like we're supposed to gain karma for killing enemy units, but I've seen my opponent gain karma when I armageddon his units when I have none on the field. And the computer cheats. I don't believe it's a coincidence that when I save up, and the moment I put a panzer he suddenly puts three tanks on the field.
Didn't save my progress. Played yesterday, hard badge progress says I made it to level 14, but I come back the following day and have to start over at level 1 for some reason.
