Okay, figured out money, but, it really seems to be a losing campaign, even in the second mission. The enemy just is able to produce far too many troops, and it requires far too many troops to actually *win* a battle - it takes something like 5-8 to WIN even after you've killed everything on the battlefield. That is absolutely ridiculous. If I have the only troops left standing, I should win, period. Not draw because I didn't sacrifice several of my troops, which is required in this game. Stupid stupid stupid.
Poorly balanced. You can be rolling along, completely in control, then somewhere around wave 15 you fall flat on your face as you're absolutely swarmed by creeps that are suddenly unkillable. And that's *with* keeping an exact balance of towers.
Also. Why is the ground so elastic? It makes attacking essentially impossible above 4 enemies.
You've got the beginnings of a good homage to Scorched Earth, but you need to make it more playable. Stop the elastic bouncing ground!
What the heck is with the lawnmower ghost? There's nothing you can do about it. Basically, it appears, you die. Period. There's no way to kill it since it appears on your level. That is the stupidest inclusion in a game ever.
By level 11, repairs are too expensive. You end up spending all your cash on repairs. Additionally, some of the enemy weapon impacts make it so you can't even tell where you are, so dodging becomes essenitally impossible.
Autorepair doesn't work. Early creeps shouldn't be so butch it takes 10 clicks to kill one - use hit points instead of clicks, and weaken the earlier creeps. Having it take so many clicks to kill a creep turns it into an exercise of how fast you can click the mouse button, not a game.
What did you do? Suddenly the difficulty seems all out of whack. Where I've made it through all the levels before, I'm having an insane difficulty beating even the first level now. The reds are just too butch now.
WAY too many enemies on the 4th mission. You simply cannot shoot them all and so have someone constantly shooting you. Also - the enemies take too much damage. It shouldn't take multiple headshots to kill them, especially if you're going to spam as many as you do on the 4th level.
