Why does ammo cost skill points? My knowledge of how to use a weapon does not produce ammo for it. This is ridiculous, especially how expensive the ammo is in said skill points.
The controls are horrible, and death is VERY unforgiving. I got killed by air in a couple recoverable circumstances. Work on your control scheme and protocol for just what kills you. As is, this game is really not playable.
The opening of chests with lockpicks that always break before you find this mythical sweetspot is really extremely poorly done. It defeats the very purpose of dropping treasure in an RPG if the character never has access to the same treasure. Carrying around a bunch of loot you can never even find out what it is, let alone use it, is just stupid.
The more I play it, the more I hate it. Thought? Hardly. The game is sheer luck, as there ARE no patterns to the cars. The lights are placed in ridiculous positions - no intersections would ever be designed this way. These are not so much puzzles as exercises in frustration.
I have to say, the escort missions are tedious. I'm always so much faster than the ships I'm escorting, I spend most the time sitting there waiting for them to catch up. They are not even remotely cost effective - you can make a lot more money just doing a bunch of delivery missions or assassination missions. The only reason I'm bothering with the escort missions is to try to get the achievement.
Now, thanks to having to restart, I have a crappy ship and am repeatedly getting killed at the starting station by the same bloody ship. I can't get to another station to deliver anyhting, and because you lose half your XP and Gold every time you die, I will never be able to improve the ship. POOR JOB. Starting should be less dangerous. There shouldn't be instadeath ships hovering around the freaking beginning stations. I have the second most achievements on the list, so I've played this quite a bit already, and was rather successful. I like the game, but this starting balance is horrible.
Also, did you change the hull sizes? Suddenly my Primitive R-1 Cobra's holds are literally 1/10th the size the previously were, so I can't even leave the station. I'm going to have to start all over now.
Your offense ends up being your own worst enemy. You have almost zero control over what your magnets absorb vs. what they pick up. This really needs to be fixed. Separate the "absorb this" control, the "pick this up", and the "drop this" controls. Three different keyboard keys would be better for this, with arrow keys for movement. Trying to use mouse for all controls makes it clumsy and frustrating.
Glitch on glowing green zombie day - I think I killed all of them, and their glowing green spawn thingie, but the day won't end. It wants me to kill more zombies, and figure out how to kill the new glowing green thing, BUT, there's nothing to kill.
It's a good game, but the fact that the majority of the time your troops only do minimal damage is really annoying. Also, in Adamantine, no turn limit was mentioned, and yet I suddenly lost the battle with no explanation, even though I was slowly defeating all enemy units.
