The hire employees feature is absolutely clunky and uninteresting. You would expect a proper IN-GAME interface instead of a "Click to Hire Employees from your FRIENDS LIST". I noticed you can also hire people from the chatroom, but its rather broken. Works on and off and only a few usernames appear (alphabetical order).
So you just rip off from the GBA game I see. At least even bother to create your own map and have better audio? For a copypasta-riperoni kind of game, the amount of effort in this is appalling. 1/5
This is my take on the most efficient way to play the game: Build Farm/Wells>Houses>All affordable Merchandise Buildings>Market(if necessary to sell produce). This increases your population for production which earns money to buy more resources than you can make yourself which can then be used for more upgrades. The merchandise buildings will start to get exponentially more expensive (lvl20+) and you should drop Farm/Wells after that as at this point you should have an unlimited pool of food/water to create population at will and you'll start to have difficulty employing them. Create Merchandise buildings when you can afford and House & Markets when necessary. Some extra tips: The prices of goods you sell fluctuate so for blacksmith crafting, the steel battleaxe may not necessary always be the best weapon to craft. Check the prices and craft/sell accordingly. Have fun ;)
This is a game breaker here. The first storylet appeared which took away a massive amount of money in return boosted the stats of my squirrel. However, the stat boost not only disappeared, but the overall stats were lowered to the point of first purchase upon refresh. Pretty much ruined the game as I'm left in debt with a sub-par squirrel.
Thought it was pretty interesting and humourous but then the game went all out click-fest and check-every-option-to-progress. Some things like the scarf is non-intuitive for example. An unfortunate 2/5
Getting stuck behind obstacles, RNG elements, cash pickups that disappear and highly repetitive gameplay with little strategy. As much as I would like to have fun seeing penguins go on a rampage, the flaws of the game is just burdersome. 2/5
Good idea to port Prop Hunt to flash but this game is broken as heck as of now. Till then my rating will stay low till this game is fully functional and polished.
5/5 full of fun. a little frustrating when you first start as you'll probably just fumble about. Afterwards it becomes strangely satisfying when you start score really awesome goals with the 2 button mode.
You're pretty cool.
