Black Goblin level, send everything you have ASAP just rush the castle, keep an eye out when the black goblin finally comes out, when he does cast shield on your guys, he'll attack them (without damage), and then run right by and stay half a screen away from the castle, keep sending cannon fodder at him (those that didn't get shielded) castle goes down, you win.
Big Bang: Do you really need strategy for this level? Fine. Send everything you have at the big bomb, use berserk to make it go really fast, if you care about your units staying alive cast shield right before you destroy it, either way doesn't matter your guys will respawn.
FlareAndrew: An easier way to be the "Dragon's Lair" level is to simply use Popo the Dwarf, your other ones don't really matter, berzerk helps speed things along.
Popo simply fires his spike cannon, it explodes, well out of range of the dragon's breath, if he wanders too close, retreat him a bit and continue. Best of all the range tends to explode such that multiple, if not all, the spikes hit the dragon. Just send your cannon fodder to keep it busy.. and still.
Black goblin again... arghhhh royal PITA to win that level too... my advice FAST movers like the phantom armor, as soon as you get close to the goblin "shield" so they don't insta-die, then click on their portrait and manually click near the enemy castle to bypass the black goblin, you can't kill it, then it's a matter of keeping them alive long enough to destroy the castle.
Add auto, it really becomes a carpal tunnel syndrome type game otherwise. You have a mechanism to control the auto as it stands with the over-heating thing.
Fun game, only issues I have with it, are the site specific content, the infect spell is quite useful when powered up (although it does lose its effectiveness in later levels. Plus having to grind can get tiresome, rewards should be tiered such that when you get most all of them having everything maxed is relatively easy.
Also a HUGE issue with some levels getting the MASSACRE bonus, as there aren't enough people. I sit back near my gate and don't move yet people will stop being "made"
Nice start, but I'd like to have a little more info available, things like statistics/powers of my pet if they're available then I don't know where they are, or of weapons and so forth. As it stands with the exception of going to a blacksmith its kind of hard to tell why one item might be better than another, or if one pet is better than another.
Nice concept, however some issues I have with. Leveling up is simply a matter of how much money you have not any relation to how much a creature has been in battle or killed someone so you can grind away at lower levels and simply bam have yourself a maxed level creature. The lack of any "auto" function makes this a matter of how fast can you click, and the computer is always going to click faster than you can so you're already at a disadvantage combine that with the losing turn points if you get hit and it really makes for a frustrating game because having to click between 6 characters can get tiresome especially if your rhythm gets screwed up because one guy has to wait now because he got hit. The last angel unit seems extremely overpowered, attack that hits everything? Good for you if you have those units, bad for devil if you go against them. Plus no story line to it, there really was no feeling of accomplishment when I beat everything.
Ninjas can be hit with meteor while invisible, the end. They typically have low hit points too so a single meteor is enough to wipe them out (except maybe a big boss).
Want a defense against Ninjas? When you lose a level make sure to put a tower that can hit like a tank (orc tower is good) close to the front, again they have low hit points so an upgraded tower will often kill a ninja in one shot.
I think this game needs to be renamed "Ultimate Bore" whole the overly premise is nice, the fact that you're left with few units to work with, nothing really changes from map to map other than the difficulty.
Fun simplistic game, a few issues with tanks randomly flipping over and getting flung away from the bases which was a bit irritating, but overall quite nice. I think the flame thrower is way overpowered too.
Seems to be some lag between moving in a particular direction after any "pause". Level randomly gets reduced every time I continue a new game, and I already know I got to level 10 because I still have the Ion grenades, flame thrower seems to be the best weapon in the game as well.
