You should market this as a child's tablet game. A lot of kids are using tablets really early and this sort of color reasoning would be really good for them.
So now that we can combine items, what is my motivation to reset? I have been consistently progressing, having characters all past level 250 (I keep this, sure, but I can keep leveling now), damage in the millions, run speed so fast they're all Sonic the Hedgehog... Why would I reset and lose those items? What do I gain?
Now that you're expanding the game out (good job by the way) I'd really like to see some info about my characters. DPS in last 60 seconds and total kills for this reset for each one would be great. Then I can balance out my equipment better, see what works etc. With the customization allowed by the Combinator this would be very useful.
King's Keep healing enemies must be toned down, or my damage has to be raised. I am on my third reset and if I leave it to idle I will always come back to an attrition-proof stalemate. Both my characters and theirs just keep healing away, no one can finish the job. Give them a limited amount of healing, like mana, so that we can struggle against them but not get stuck.
Lots of complaints about flying enemies... I used the staff and never had an issue, not sure about other weapons. They cycle between flying on your level and flying on one too high to hit, you need a little strategy. Wait for them to come lower and kill them. Whiny babies. Do we really need to nerf all challenge?
@Dibloidan it increases the delay of the TRADER's attack. That is the guy that you're stealing from, it makes them attack less frequently when you first meet them (they don't attack after beating them)
So... why can't we also have two squads? The internal logic of the game makes no sense. It's also just so poorly balanced because of this. Blah. That plus trying to find the right gear in the shop just makes this tedious, which is very disappointing as it's almost a really good game.
As we have to travel manually, I'd like the sea to feel a little less empty. Occasional attacks by pirates or sea monsters would add some risk, and if we win, a bit of extra reward to our travels. Also, to people bothered by pathfinding, the ship is clearly meant to be steered. Hold in the mouse instead of clicking and direct it.
Which is it that you developers think when designing a game, "Well, the player will use an autoclicker" or "I HOPE THEIR HANDS DIE MUAHAHAHA!"??? Why is there so much focus on clicking? That does NOT MAKE A GAME IDLE. It makes it a CLICKER, unless one uses an OUTSIDE PROGRAM which shouldn't be considered part of a game. This is getting old.
Nope, dude. You will realize that when you start building your empire, the more buildings you have, the more gold per second. Then, the gold per click will lose its value, and you will have to recur to other methods like hiring miners, attacking and domaining kingdoms, discovering and dominating dungeons...The gold per click is fundamental in the begginig, but in the middle of the game, the administration of the empire that you built is the most important thing, and is the source of your gold income.I hope you enjoy the game, thanks for playing!
It took a while to release, but you listened to the complaints and gave us the update that people wanted. Thank you for automating the races, the game is much better and I look forward to future balances and updates from you. This game definitely has great potential now.
Obviously in its Alpha state balance is required, but this is the first time I have played a game that feels like a 4X Strategy game boiled down into an idle, and it is pretty entertaining. I am looking forward to its progress, thanks for the game.
I enjoyed this at first, but I am rating it a 1/5 because the developer appears to have just thrown it out here and then ignored it. The top comments are all about problems with the game, and they are completely unaddressed. We expect more from developers at this point.
Your Kred based upgrades are clearly only marketed towards exploiting whales, by pricing a multiplier at $22.50! That makes you part of the greedy micro-transaction problem, and I have no desire to play because of that. 1/5. $22.50?!
Well, I got things up to "NaNeInfinity" or "Undefined Likes" in cost. I guess I'm done? 1.2e274 friends... Hopefully this game is updated and balanced well, it has potential. And you could use an artist...
Stats and Upgrades desperately need a buy bulk and max option. Once you have reborn a few times you will have dozens or even of hundreds of things to buy at once...
I wish the grind wasn't so long to get Nate to 150. I am on my third reset and it is getting tedious. The whole point of resets are to overcome walls and make the game feel fresh again. It takes too damn long to do this. I almost really like this game...
We're happy with the length of time for the first few resets at the moment, but we are keeping an eye on it and may consider changing it in the future.
