Hmm, after having a lot of trouble on my first 10 tries of endless mode, I survived 20 minutes with ease on my 11th try. So I guess a lot depends on luck of the enemy composition and placement. Some tips: Death reach stops priests from freezing you. Gargoyle can sustain hp through tough times. When overrun by high dmg enemies, use Hailstorm/Blightfrost followed by Sea of Fire. Make sure catapults are frozen. My bow focus priorities: 1-catapult, 2-suicide-goblin (if reachable), 3-boss, 4-cannon, 5-priest, 6-succubus/mage/spider, 7-the-rest. I used death reach, gargoyle, scourge burst, hailstorm and sea of fire.
I don't know if I just suck very badly or if some tweaking has been done since the badges came out. I have a full talent tree, and after 10 tries on endless mode I haven't been able to pass 13 minutes. I even switched spells midgame to get some extra help. At least, I don't understand how this is a medium badge.
I can't find the "get poisoned" ending that navysealltblue is talking about. I just die and come back as a stabber when I take the poison. I also tried taking the health potion before being poisoned, and tried dying of age to the poison guy.
Something must be wrong on my client. Every time I press the arrow keys or the jump key, a 1 second lag spike appears. It's near impossible to play with. I tried refreshed, clearing cache etc. I usually don't have trouble with Kong games, so I don't understand why this is happening. But judging from the comment section, it doesn't seem to be a common problem.
Instead of hints and lots of written advice, I'd have preferred if you had focused on a learning-by-doing model. Suggestions: 1. view your storage at all times, 2. get prompted to view a deeper recursion stack, 3. an option to instantly finish tests that will pass, and only play a test if it will fail, 4. add the ability to use breakpoints and an option to instantly fast forward to the next breakpoint.
My "super genius" solution on level 14 would fail the scenario of more commas. I feel like the scoring is misleading. Especially when coding often is about readability, and rarely about micro-efficiency.
Love the difficulty curve. Especially some of the later ones in each world. I start out a level, and I really struggle. But the more I keep going, I learn the level in and out, and end up finishing the last star with a nice feeling of accomplishment. I left 1 star at 4-7 and 5-9 because I was stuck for too long, but I've fallen in love with this game, so I'll probably go back and work on them when I reach the last levels. A long time since I've given a game 5/5 Good work!
I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out a way to fulfill all objectives on 3-7, only to realize that you only have to fulfill the objective of the star you're aiming for.
Oh, and and I suggest you make an option to buy all cheap upgrades (e.g. all upgrades that cost less than 1 minute's worth of your current total income); and an option to buy all angel upgrades costing less than e.g. 0.1% of current angels.
Played for 2 weeks. I'm at 2.7 quindec angels. It takes half a day to afford the next achievement which gives me 5% income increase. Rebuilding the same income after a reset takes over a day. And it seems there's not gonna be an increase in speed ahead. Except maybe when future updates are released. So.. I got bored, and I finally decided to quit. 3/5 Here's my save if anyone wants it: http://tny.cz/ee2ba1e2 Have fun.
Enjoyed so much that I went for 26 lives and all acorns. 2-2 acorns can be collected by jumping in the height peak of the bounce that you get from landing on the movable object underneath. 5-2 can be done by jumping when the front wheel is running across the hole, and then pushing all you can to make the back wheel run over with enough speed. 5/5
@korry, it's a bug. I've found it happens if you buy the manager and then upgrade to level 25. And to others: no I'm not talking about halving of the time from the achievement, it's the timer that ticks twice per second, instead of just once. When you refresh the page, all timers are reset to tick once per second though.
They said scroll bars are coming, but if you can't scroll with scroll wheel for now, try clicking and dragging as if using a touch screen with your mouse.
Note to self: Don't upgrade a slow business to level 25 without purchasing manager. My bank was minutes away from finishing a 2 hour processing, at level 24. Upgrading it with a manager will convert the time spent processing to the new timer, so I would get one profit + almost one more finished. But without the manager, it just finished, effectively making me waste 40 minutes.
Didn't see the old layout, but this one isn't very intuitive. It also seems unnecessarily heavy on my computer, since clicking buttons sometimes makes minor lag spikes. I also don't understand why the timers accelerate with upgrades. E.g. My shrimp business showed 35 seconds left and it finished before my hockey business, which showed 20 seconds left at that time. I don't mind the acceleration, but at least keep the timers comparable to each other. Mute button should be easier to find (click image top left corner, scroll right).
