I'm pretty sure I've bought at least one of every item in the fairy shop, and that I've killed at least one of every enemy, but I still don't have those achievements...
I don't understand how you gain the little hexagons on each level, and also they appear unreliably on the menu screen; for me, level 8 sometimes appears with 3 unearned hexagons and sometimes there are no hexagons on it (earned or not), and level 9 sometimes appears with 2 earned and 1 unearned hexagon and sometimes with no hexagons.
They don't really show anything, but your progress (if you get 2 shapes under line - you get 2 hexagons, and so on), as of menu screen - it is simply a bug, so thank you for reporting.
I love this game, I just hope all the bugs will be fixed; I see that the devs are working hard on this. I hope the progress loss bug is fixed now (my progress was lost repeatedly), there are also other issues that I'm sure people have reported (sometimes you click one thing on the menu and another thing comes up, also when you complete deleted scenes sometimes it doesn't register). Apart from the bugs, it's a lot of fun. The humour is great, the puzzles themselves are excellent, the controls are adequate, the graphics are appropriate and the extras are nice. The way you earn coins is either by watching an ad (fair enough) or by doing an action sequence, which is fun but perhaps out-of-place for an otherwise completely logical puzzle game. People have said that these coin-making methods were not enough for them to buy the space pack, but I see the devs are working on that too. All in all, it's a tentative 5 stars from me (in good faith that the bugs will be fixed).
Thank you so much for the kind words NetMonster! (As well as the bug reports!) We are indeed working hard to address the bugs and improve the overall gameplay, and will hopefully have a more stable build available soon! :)
Thanks for looking into it. I've been using Google Chrome (I have Windows 7); same browser, same computer, same account throughout; I didn't clear the cache, and my saves in other games are still intact. I restarted my computer inbetween, but that shouldn't make a difference. Now I left and came back and it started over *again*... it's like it has stopped saving my progress >.>
That's really strange, on the server it seems like your progress has been reset...We're looking into how that may have happened & to prevent it in the future but for the meanwhile will work on a way to restore all your progress.
Hey NetMonster! We will take a look at this on our end and see if we can figure out what's up. In the meantime, any other info you can provide will help us out! Did you switch browsers/accounts/computers at all while playing, or possibly clear your browser cache? Is your save still gone after refreshing the page?
As others have pointed out, the move-based star system does not work well with this particular type of puzzle (and even if it did, "undo" should decrease the counter). What worries me, however, is that people have been complaining in the comments that they have spent money on unlocking level packs and that the packs were subsequently relocked without a refund. Assuming this is a bug, why have the developers not acknowledged it? So far no one has answered these comments, or made an announcement about the bug (that it exists, that it is being fixed, that players who bought level packs will be refunded, etc). This looks very bad. The ethical thing to do here would be to put up a warning until the problem is fixed, so that no one else loses money for nothing in the meantime. Otherwise we may start thinking this was intentional...
Are you seriously asking for money to tell people the solutions? You realise that someone is going to upload a walkthrough on youtube sooner or later, right? And it's not even a difficult game; as others have mentioned, once you know the trick there's no challenge.
So... this guy is so desperate to get a girlfriend as soon as he moves that he starts looking for one literally before he even unpacks. He then turns down two women because of stupid misunderstandings that he could have easily resolved by simply rephrasing, and he also turns down a lady who seems to be quite beautiful and intelligent because he disapproves of her nerdy hobby. Yeeeah I kind of see why his first girlfriend dumped him >.>
I played this one right after I played the sequel, which was better. The roman numerals puzzle was a bit contrived, but that's ok. What bothered me in this game was that some puzzles were basically an eyesight test. While I appreciate the atmosphere created by darkness, certain puzzles that depended on observation of details should have been put off until we've turned on the lights, or at least the clues should have been more visible. Still a great horror game.
The voice acting was off and positioning the puppet was a pain, but overall I enjoyed this game very much. I have to say I would have preferred a different ending, though :P
I get close to the traveller. I press E and nothing happens, I press space and I jump, I left-click and I do an attack move. How do I talk to the traveller? I looked at the instructions and it looks like one of those keys should get me to talk, but that's not happening. Is it a bug? I'm using Safari on Mac OS El Capitan.
They don't really show anything, but your progress (if you get 2 shapes under line - you get 2 hexagons, and so on), as of menu screen - it is simply a bug, so thank you for reporting.
