OK here's what I don't get: you KNOW I'm going to keep the left mouse button pressed during the entire game... so why not make it auto-fire? Or at least include an auto-fire option? The marksman achievement is the only possible reason I wouldn't use it.
Fun, but short, repetitive, and not very original. It needs some kind of variety (different kinds of bombs?) - also, killing every soldier was harder than it should be because a) the bridge doesn't fall realistically and b) they can jump over some gaps. 4 stars.
Why has mrbah been voted down 16 times? Making Y a second jump button is an understandable request if you're used to WASD controls and have a different keyboard layout... and it doesn't affect the rest of us who have qwerty... am I missing something? o.O
About the challenge levels: Part of the difficulty is in the level design, as it should be, and part of it is because the controls are very loose (you "slide" a lot). The first part I understand, but as for the second part, I'd like the controls to be tighter. I wouldn't complain because I have to make a very precise jump or use fast reflexes, but when I'm simply walking and I can't stop at the exact place I want because of the sensitive controls it's getting a little ridiculous. That's not to say I don't like the game, because I do (I've given it the full 5-star score).
I don't know if there's a real life tribe named after the black mamba, but even if there is, I don't see anything racist about this game. The members of the tribe are the good guys, and the white slavers are the bad guys. Also, the game doesn't seem to imply any negative stereotypes about such tribes (well except for "they go around naked", which is more or less true). The only thing that can be seen as less-than-respectful is the goofy gameplay with the giant spring and the colored hair, but hey, it's a physics game...
There are two special stars in the challenge room... how was I supposed to know which one to get? I got the star from "traps" and no badge. I guess it was the other one, from "selection". You might as well have mentioned it!
Speed up the animations, and disable auto-forward to the next level. Fun and educational, I'd like to see badges on this game. 5 stars. @adrin: No, it's possible.
I'm sure the book explains a lot, but as a stand-alone game it doesn't make much sense. I was supposed to find out what the threat to the museum was, and defeat it, so the rooms would stop turning evil... when did that happen? How did I "make it" when the problem wasn't resolved? You had a perfectly good setup, but then you just forgot about the whole plot. Despite that, the artwork makes this one of the best difference games I've played.
I'm still puzzled as to how we're supposed to find the hidden note in the mural and how we're supposed to find out where to put those keys for that constellation ("N" I think). Otherwise, one of the best brain teasers I've seen. I can't wait for the sequel. 5 stars from me.
Keys sometimes get stuck. I'm playing on a computer with an oldish version of flash player, but this shouldn't happen. Otherwise, it's a really nice game.
