You can see the order of the icons in the main menu screen, as the reels spin continuously. There are 11 of them. From top to bottom: Coins-house-snow-sun-rain-moon-clock-coffee-sandwich-cheese-plant.
And guys, don't vote me and Belian down... we're pointing out a bug for crying out loud, why would you want to hide a comment that helps the creator fix things? Sheesh.
Bug: I clicked on the bored.com link, but I didn't get the achievement. Does everyone have the same problem or does it just happen to some people? I'm using Firefox.
OK I'm at the point where I've completed one campaign (easy). Suggestions so far: 1) As I said before, enable "card info" on the card the opponent has just played, 2) Enable mouseover details on yourself on the campaign map, not just the enemies (I mean after you've picked your tribe), 3) As others have said, use a different colour for builders/mages/warriors than for resources. 4) In multiplayer, make each player see *himself* as the one with the blue flag.
I wish I could see what the *opponent's* cards do. He plays "magic protect", for instance, I see the little shield on top, and I have no idea what it is and no way of finding out during the match except by trial-and-very-unfortunate-error. It wasn't in the tutorial, clicking "card info" and then the card doesn't do anything, and mouseover/clicking on the icon doesn't tell me what it does. Sure, all the card descriptions are in "manage deck", but (for the first few matches) I can't remember everything by heart yet, and I can't visit that screen during the game. I know I'll learn everything in time, it's just that the game would be much friendlier to the novice if I could see what my opponent's card just did.
You can finish it without a walkthrough if you pay attention to all the evidence and keep notes. Which is more than I can say for most escape room games, where you usually have to pixel hunt and look in every little crack you can imagine. 5 stars.
Having played 3/4 difficulties, I must say that separating US english from UK english was a bad idea. You should just accept all equivalents as correct. Also, add more synonyms (gear=cog, diamond=gem, etc). Although it's understandable that you wouldn't have thought of many english synonyms since you tried to cover all these different languages.
When I undo my last move, the counter doesn't go down as it should. Also, I'd like to be able to go a few moves back, not just one. Lastly, I'd like to know the minimum number of moves for each level. Apart from these nuances, however, I'm really enjoying this game. I wonder what the cheat code will be?
I give it 5 stars. That was a great point'n'click. The puzzles are pretty much rational, unlike previous room escape games by the same developer. The only puzzle that seemed out of place was the one with the broken wand; howcome I can use magic only on that specific instance?
I'm not going to try for the hard badge. Too much trial and error for my taste; in many places, the first time you have to guess where to jump and the others you have to remember exactly where that platform was and how far you are from those spikes. But other than that, I liked the gameplay. Also, cool music and story.
