Man, you have so little control in this game. The power-ups that pop up and what order the bots grab them can make or break your combo... the bots you cannot control. You can't even click off the buffs to make space for more useful ones. And whether your combo perpetuates beyond like x10 pretty much is all luck. Kinda fun to watch when everything does go in your favour though.
Its okay, but annoying. Especially with the waves that seem designed to wipe out your entire team (whole line of cars + whole line of airstrikes, TOGETHER?). Rockets are really stupid with their aiming too. Will occasionally fly off the bottom of the screen. Every so often the sound will turn off but I have no idea why.
Annoying padding issues aside, this was actually a pretty fun play. Its nice to see one of these that isn't commercialized into unplayability. Its incredibly rough if you don't spec heavily into speed, though.
Walking around wastes time and it lacks a lot of quality of life features when it comes to organizing your minions. The whole "do a gigantic ass floor for a random chance to get something you might already have" thing is annoying too, but mostly because of how long it takes to walk around the whole place.
I'm immediately turned off by games that are absolutely unforgiving and a screw up meaning you have to restart the ENTIRE game. I can understand wanting to make players manage resources, but not giving people a chance to try out different things to see what works? It starts to cross the line from difficult to just plain frustrating when you practically have to abuse quick save/load to pass.
Why can't I just switch all the difficulties at once? Can't you at least make them stick at whatever I chose last? Its just irritating to have to click five times each time you want to advance the difficulty up to silver/gold leaf thing.
Wow, your games were bad before, but they're actually managed to get worse. And you're asking for money for this? All the issues with the previous games show up too. Confusing, grindy, etc...
