I don't understand what the coin slots are for on the menu screen. I did the tutorial and got a gold coin (cool!) and finished one of the 5-level levels and didn't get a coin. (what gives?)

Needs work. Three kinds of punching and only one kind of block is kind of silly. What about dodging? I'd prefer four kinds of attack ala more traditional boxing games: head/body and light/heavy...and a dodge/block button or toggle.

I got a null reference as well...something to do with sound. It didn't crash (I just dismissed it) but it was unexpected. Overall the game is excellent! I think you brought lots of new ideas to the crowded TD genre, though I felt the energy usage was a bit unclear. (To your credit, I didn't play through the entire tutorial so it may have been thoroughly covered.) I really like this version and I'm a pretty big TD fan...so, good job!

Not a bad take on Tetris but the gimmick of it being upside down really isn't enough to make it work. It took about 20 points before I'd gotten the hang of going up...so that part was gone within just a few lines. I played to level 2 without any real noticeable change in the game behavior...does it get faster? I'd bring something new to the idea. Even the original Tetris has interesting challenges...it didn't just go on and on. Dig?

I'm not fond of having to click in twice to get upgrade info...that part got annoying. It could be improved by somehow showing available upgrade info right in the tower detail pane and/or name the crystals in some way that makes them intuitive...like changing "green" to "splash" or "white" to "lifegain." That way you could construct your tower in a way that was both intuitive and customizable.

What's ping pong without a score? Also, I realized that there's no "english" on the ball...the angle is determined solely by the paddle contact and not by the motion of the paddle WHEN it contacts. That's fine and probably difficult to build into the program but it's a huge part of a good ping pong simulation. I'd encourage you to move away from a "realistic" sim and spice it up since it's already fundamentally different. (Powerups you can hit with the ball, for ex.)

Pretty good but a few tweaks would make it better: It's quite easy, especially with the rockets. The two machine guns don't seem any different. The bosses are very alike (as are the boss arenas). The time limit portion of L1 was fun...and should have appeared again as a challenge later. It's not clear what the stars actually track, or what it's going to take to do better. (I'd like the stars quantified in some way.) The motion of the mech is a little funny...maybe too fast and responsive. I'd like the maps to be a bit more organic; more tiles, varied artwork, etc. All in all, I played it through and enjoyed it a lot...more levels! More missions!

Yes, the aiming is so far off that the game is broken. I tried strategies of quantity (lots of cheap towers), quality (a few powerful ones), and technology (a good assortment from across the tech tree) and NONE of the towers hit much. To make matters worse, the expensive upgrades don't come close to meeting the ramp-up in creep strength by around level 20 or so. The difficulty setting didn't seem to do anything...playability hits a wall at the same place regardless of the difficulty. Loads of potential; needs work.

Great concept. Would love to see a sandbox mode where I can just play around. I'd like to see the particles that influence one's shots be introduced over time. I'd like the whole thing slowed down at first to give me more time to practice. I'd like to see specific challenges and tasks to provide more play structure. Awesome concept!

The animation framerate is pretty low so it's difficult to really maneuver. There's really nothing unique in the way the ship moves; the sense of motion or gravity is missing. I'd like to see a little drift when I move in a direction (instead of abruptly stopping). It's not a bad exercise in Flash and the graphics and type are both pretty good...it just needs a little something special.
