Rage quit. 3/5. I would rate it higher, but the game lags to hell when I reach level 4. It took me 5 minutes to complete Level 5 because the game was moving so slow.
I have tried playing this game on 3 different keyboards (2 Qwerty, 1 Azerty), 2 different computers, and 6 different web browsers. I still cannot get past the start screen. Since my previous comment was rated down, I imagine someone here can explain how to remedy the situation in a civil manner. I would like to rate the game higher than 1/5, but I would need to be able to play the game first.
0/5. Why? I cannot navigate past the start screen. Arrow keys work for other games, not for this one. WASD doesn't work either. If you want me to rate this game higher, I need to be able to get past the start screen.
3/5. I am sorry, but when the computer is able to deploy 30 armies / turn while not controlling a single continent, there is something wrong. I enjoy Risk, but something is not right here.
When the game is over, you can use the History button to go back and see exactly how they got every single army. You can prove that the AI plays by the same rules you do.
People talk about how Epic War keeps on getting released with fewer things like it is a bad thing. I like to think that I have a smaller chance of getting herpes from Epic War 5 than I do from Epic War 4 to be a good thing.
Here is what you need to remember. Quality over Quantity.
Just a suggestion, but maybe add some battlefield walls? Not literal walls, but more like boundaries. It can be a bit frustrating while trying to defeat the enemy hero when he/she disappears off screen. It is nice to be able to see the HP of the enemy instead of guessing and hoping.
Much like Final Fantasy, Epic War tries something new with each release. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is bad. But you must realize that it is trying to give you the best experience possible while surviving with the times.
What is the requirement for the pacifist rating? If I set off a mine, but not kill any persons or robots, I don't get it. If I kill a robot, but not any persons or set of a mine, I don't get it. Do you need to avoid contact with anything that could possibly cause damage in order to get it? That is impossible on later levels, even with the cloaking skill.
Very good game. The only things I really want to see right now are all of the Power assigned cards to be available during the campaign (I am looking at the Elementals), and the campaign opponents to make use of each special card. I look forward to new powers to be made. Probably my favorite card game on Kongregate.
Rugby isn't football. Only complete idiots call football rugby. Especially since Rugby and American football are completely different. They are about as similar as Cricket and Basketball.
99% Hit Chance does not mean that you will hit 99 times out of 100. It does not mean that if you miss once, your next attack with connect. 99% Hit Chance simply means that out of an infinite number of tests, you will be successful 99% of the time. You can miss 1 billion times in a row and then hit 99 billion times in a row. Everyone complaining about hit chance just are not using large enough samples. They also never complain when they are on a hot streak and have connected 40 times in a row with a hit chance of 5%.
Yeah, Princess Jennifer keeps on glitching for me. Front wheel gets stuck in the ground whenever she lands and stops her from moving. I love the game, but I have to reduce my rating from 5/5 to 4/5 because of this glitch. It prevents me from completing the game.
If you unlocked 5 riders and didn't get the badge, you are screwed. I have unlocked 15. Badge was created. I unlocked another one. Nothing happened. It is an unobtainable badge without resetting your game.
Stroke 194. Nope, missed again. 1/5 because some holes are too difficult at that size. I understand that some people are golf game fanatics and can get a hole in 1 every time. I am not that person. This game is too difficult for my tastes and I am not going to rate it highly because of that.
Princess Jennifer seems to glitch on me. Whenever she lands from a jump, her front wheel phases through the ground and she gets stuck. Do you have any idea how hard it is to come in first place without using boost or jump?
