Someone suggested a Queen Bee to increase harvest percentage, but if you wanted to be more accurate, (and more incremental) a Queen Bee should produce bees per second (probably just 1).
Well, I hope you fixed the math when you wiped the saves. Even with the "toggle exploit" I still couldn't get past level 42 or 43, I think, and that was with sore fingers and 8,000 mastery.
There's a bug where, if you hit Main Menu then start then wait a second or two, you can jump in and out of the game in about 5 seconds, and it credits you incrementally more RP each time, without even having to engage in combat. I'm on enemy 3 getting 52 rp/sec. It looks like the issue is with the save file contents versus the timestamp for your offline calculation.
The math in this game is seriously broken. You really need to Q.A. something you're going to put out like this, even if just free/hobby/whatever. "Serpents receive +150% base damage" *click* *adds about 1%* *sigh* *buy more beholders instead"
Regarding the lag: I've noticed that it is particularly bad when a milestone pops up, but I can remove the lag entirely by going to Transcend and clicking Save, which I assume resets the wait action for those milestones.. I think one of the major lag factors (as a complete guess) may be with Unity not releasing the state of that fulfillment condition from the action queue.
The biggest problem with the waiting system is that you have to start with active playing. that makes it a really boring action game for however it takes before it can transition into an idle game. My suggestion is to keep the wait system, but only have it kick in after, say 60 seconds of idle time. That would allow the active play to proceed normally, but keep the idle play from being too ridiculous. If you're worried about people using autoclickers or some such, then just make the wait time be divided by 10 during active play instead of removing it completely.
Hey, thanks for fixing that opening screen. (The info was useful, but it felt like some sort of sneaky bait and switch) Consider your rating updated...
I'm sorry, but the new UI is so bad I'm dropping my rating for you. White text on effectively blinking green backgrounds? A mix of rounded obtuse and acute angles? Lots of askew lines on the main info page challenging your eyes' ability to even use the info that's right in front of you? An inability to quickly gather the state of your gameplay by making the tabs difficult to navigate? I realize you want to put together a mobile version, but playing the game on the web has gone from fun to arduous with some really terrible design decisions. Whoever designed that layout really needs a class in HCI, and also needs to learn from the failures of Windows 8 (different platforms need different interfaces). I'm dropping my rating from 5 stars to 3, and I may or may not even come back if it's ever fixed.
This game is proof that gameplay trumps graphics. I agree with the wish for some sort of auto-smelter, but the game is remarkably fun anyway. Well done!
I have to say, I only have two complaints for this otherwise fun game: I wish there was more mouse-over type info, like, say, current xp/next level xp, without having to go to a different page. What the value is for what you're about to purchase would be good, too. I also wish you were using a monospaced font for souls, and right-justified the souls/sec with the other 2 numbers (current and cost) so I could get a better visual on the numerical progress.
From a gameplay perspective, I'd also like to see a reset for the spent skill points, but that might just be me...
Increasing your costs by a flat rate instead of a percentage (say, 10%) makes this game WAY too easy. Your increases need to be somewhere near your growth curve...
To reinforce what the others have said, if your idle game can't idle without window focus, it's not really an idle game. 1 star until you get it fixed.
So, with the nerf to Golden Clicks, I can spam all of my skills at once, and get the cost effect of... 6 extra kills per hour? Much like stopping to pick up a penny, it's no longer worth the time it takes to do it.
I am sad you removed the gold bonus. After losing all my percentages when the bonuses were put in JUST after I reset, I was FINALLY almost back to resetting and getting some souls, and the carrot that's been dangling the whole time is now gone... You make me sad.
I can fix this.
