Badge of the day took me to the third of this series and I've been playing through them all, LOVE IT! The only thing that I would like to change is the arrow keys to WASD as I am right handed, but that is all :)
Let's see, no that the computer has had 3 turns in a row each causing multiple combos and leaving me at 13HP it's my turn, guess I'll take the 3 yellow gems as they are all that's left, oh look there's 4 purple ready for the computer's turn, wonder if it will notice...
It's a fun and addictive game, but I think there are a few things holding it back. 1) Having to select which way units appear after they are created is annoying and pointless (especially when there is only one way to go) 2) Would love to speed up the enemies turn 3) More levels like the last couple and less levels like lvl 4 and the sea one 4) Better if the square you are moving to turns red so that you know it is dangerous instead of constantly scrolling to see icons over enemy 5) Giving a reason as to why you can't fire at someone in your red attack square. Just means I end up using more planes...
5/5 for this great game, and i loved the addition to have to actually prove the case at the end as opposed to believing that the murder just solves itself if you find the right clues! As everyone else said, prob better to leave the grunts out next time though :)
I agree with Kiete5, I think that timing it actually takes away from the fun of the game. Seeing as your moves are limited anyway, you may as well take away the time limit, or at least make it longer. Player is left just clicking thoughtlessly otherwise. But it is a great game, not fantastic graphics, but the puzzles are very good!
By uploading your game before it is finished (in this extremely early stage) then all you are going to do is accumulate low ratings from gamers. If by the time you have updated the game and it is good, then you are going to fight an uphill battle to get your rating up. Just a thought, not meant to be mean, just something to chew on :)
Quite a good game, mostly seems to be achievement chasing than anything else. Prob only real complaint is that the left/right sometimes mixes up and you have to let go of the arrow key and re press it to make the car turn the right way.
Levels slow to load? I have to admit that even though I pressed + on that comment, I used to wait about 5-10 minutes back in the commodore 64 days for my 8 bit game to load. You kids....
How come a grenade to the head NEARLY knocks Mr pirate off balance, but instantly destroys my ship, even if it doesn't explode? Maybe I should make my ships out of dead pirates?
Thank you for feedback, i will implement map for next games!
