What is the point of tracking production into the decimals when the leftovers each tick are thrown out anyways? Also, shouldn't research apply to the rate that materials are produced, but not the rate at which they are consumed?
"Challenging puzzle game with well balanced levels and a motivating storyline."
More like "Easy puzzle game with repetitive levels and a minimal storyline"
Ok, so, enemy gunners deal insane damage regardless of hull/armor upgrades, yet all other weapon types deal meaningless damage by the end. The money skill can be upgraded past the point where it's a full bar and stops increasing (Also, I had way too much money by the time the bar was half full). No skill reset, and crazy lag with the last gun - resulting in a really low fire rate without slowing down the enemies. Yep, I'm giving this a solid 2/5
Waaay too easy. I'd say it was too short, but with how early on I stopped caring about money or health (Having bought everything except for a few guns in the middle), that wouldn't make sense. 3/5 for having a useable interface, redundancy in controls, and good graphics/sound/music. Score would be higher with an improved variety of guns and gameplay
1958, and I have -no- idea how to improve my score any more. Levels 3, 4, and 7 at 81, 86, and 91. Let me know if there's any funky strategy I'm missing. Getting 100% on level 2 was awesome fun xD
Right, rating the game~ I'm going to give it a 4.5 out of five, since which the gameplay has been done before, it is done really well here. Functional interface, interesting challenge mode, well designed levels, and utter lack of annoying gimmicks they tend to stick on these games. I'm a damn tough critic, but you have my approval :)
Bugs I've noticed so far:
Abilities costing too many points
Action bar being a jerk (Costing around 2.5 bars instead of 2 for an ability, skipping back a bit after every attack)
Freeze/crashing during training
Enemies that dodge with 1/10 your agility, poor grammar in the cutscenes, plot and gameplay that would be a copy of monster rancher if it weren't flatly worse, bugs everywhere, and overall slow pacing. 2/5 because at least it's ripping off a good game, isn't another mmo or top-down shooter, and has some nice graphics
Got all the achievements except for score, combo, and total nodes charged. Great interface, interesting design, and overall nice style. The puzzles themselves are always too easy, but this game is interesting nonetheless. I'mna give it a 4/5. (I'm a tough critic, since 5/5 is reserved for games that are both polished and have unique gameplay)
Single five, single five, single five, single five, single five, zilch. And then reckless wins in seven turns, having zilched twice.
This is why I hate luck-based games. The animations are nice, and the interface is good with the exception of no award descriptions or options. I dunno, it is what it is. 3/5
I'm normally a very tough critic, but I'm actually comfortable giving this a 5/5. It is a bit too easy for my level of not-having-a-life-and-spending-all-my-time-playing-games, but turned out to be very enjoyable and interesting. The simplicity of the interface does not take away from the depth of the gameplay, and the overall feeling is that the game is very well made :)
Awesome music :D It's rare to have an innately easy game such as this to end up feeling so satisfying and fun :) 4/5 Weird bug required a refresh, and I don't see the point of the score system at all (or any of the achievements, which are trivial to collect just by playing the game). So this is a good game with a few pointless extras that only serve to clutter the screen :/
You're very right, on both counts. This has been fixed in the minipatch I'm about to post. Thanks for the feedback :)
