Oh joy, yet another "action puzzle" physics based trajectory game. Except this one doesn't have a velocity indicator. Or original levels. Or original projectile types. Or original style. Riding the popularity of the pirates vs. ninjas debates isn't nearly enough to make a bland game good. 1/5
It'd be 2/5 if it wasn't also so lengthy :/
Once again, the 'toughest' medals to earn are the ones for time played and total kills. Getting all the others should be enough to earn these badges, but these games seldom fail to set them ridiculously high. :C Also, the second boss has the hardest to avoid attack in the game :s Apart from these minor trifles I have with the game, it is stylish, well-made, and moreover fun to play. 4/5
At first I was all "Yay style of puzzle game that I like!" And then I played it and liked the implementation. And -then-, I turned the music on :D Toilet Story ftw~ Chiptunes make everything better
Well, I made it as far as 1043.3 with the brick, after a lot of min-maxing. The arcade mode badges aren't working, but my scores are 2233, 5709, and 18697. Any challengers?
Well the sun in neither exploding or expanding. It seems to just be chasing you down :/ That said, great gameplay for such simple mechanics, and only really needs a bit of polish on some of the awards (I hate awards for almost dying, and especially awards that you can't intentionally strive for)
I lost in a tiebreaker to the last guy, and it still went to the game over victory thing :s
Ranged things should be more powerful, since they are harder to accumulate! Also, stop giving me ammo to a gun that won't drop :/ Other than these minor balance issues, (Fully upgraded less than half way through the game?) good stuff :) I like this sort of gameplay
Gameplay features aside, I don't like the physics :s The controls are too skittish to, say, run and jump onto a small platform with any accuracy. Also, it doesn't seem to matter at all that the levels are big loops
Wow, a beholder's tower is significantly more difficult to get than, say, a brilliant rating, on any given level :/
Balance issues aside (What's the point of demon skills that only come into effect when you are losing?), this is still one of the best tower defense games on kong. Anybody else looking forward to a sequel with more towers and less ninjas?
Hmmm... Getting to 1000 is way too hard with all those guys that start shooting before you can even see them. Fast scrolling wouldn't be a problem if the screen were taller, since one missed jump (shot from out of the screen) can have you fall to your immediate death with no way to prevent or survive it. :/ Other than that, this is a pretty well built game :) 4/5
The upgrade complete badge doesn't show until you refresh the page :/ The last boss also doesn't appear until you get that badge. Also, does anybody know what those numbers/letters on the last boss are? I couldn't see them very well through my giant lightning rocket storm :/
Wow, mission four is a million times harder than anything before it. Before him, I had never come close to losing a unit. Now, he just kills my tanks in one hit :/
Oh, I get it! This game is a simulation of jamming toothpicks into your ears! 5/5 *Launches his speakers into the sun, and then lobotomizes himself with a fork* Ah, much better. Good puzzle game, although I wish there were a better way to control the depth of your picking. I could write a more thorough review, but I just can't take the music anymore :'C
Neat! 4/5 Interesting puzzle design, although it comes down to plotting which die goes where, and as a result, so you know in advance which dice need to be nudged an odd number of times :) It needs more and more difficult levels, but is otherwise a nice solid concept; nothing to add, and nothing extra
Omfg, no volcano has this much lava in it! It'd have to be aiming only at me the whole time. Also, where there hell does such a combination of creatures live together? Why are they unafraid of the lava? @.@ 5/5 For the big monsters at the bottom, even though one killed me after I beat it up (Or I escaped directly into something that hurt me :/)
Eh, the concept doesn't work too well in terms of gameplay, and the physics make me feel too much like some kind of slow can't-jump Mario. It's also unintuitive where you'll end up when you rotate the screen :/ 3/5 for the good level designs
