Great puzzle game, but you should avoid putting 'iq' in the name, because eveyone and their dog on the internet thinks they have over 120. (top 5% or so) The resultant debate over just -how- retarded various iq claims are takes away from discussion of the game itself. Remember kids: Just because gifted people are socially outcast, and you yourself are socially outcast, does not make you gifted.
Bwaa haa, I love the solution to the last level :) Kong should outlaw all walkthroughs to puzzle games though, it diminishes the integrity of a good solve :/
So, basically, the gameplay is unchanged since the first one. The strategies used are pretty much the same, and it still takes a zillion hours of staring at what is effectively an overly dramatized progress bar to either win or lose (Barring extremely one-sided battles).
Players might as well still be playing the first of four identical games, which wasn't all that good to begin with. Then again, at least it isn't luck-based or anything like anybody else's game, so it's not all bad. It's a good time waster for when everything else on the internet has already been played to death. 2/5 +1 for the quality albeit flavourless graphics, so 3/5
Hmm, I wish I knew the specifics on how elemental resistance and such worked... Ah well, I beat it having only returned to the surface once :3 Once you've got enough mojo to pay for pots, you're golden. I had a lot of fun with this game, and would absolutely love to see more!
The ip propaganda is a little weird, but the uk system for it isn't quite as scary as the states. The gameplay, challenges, and physics were well done, even if you can beat almost all of them with nothing but the almighty harpoon: 4+ISEREWFBbi4mICAA== I'll give it 4.5/5, as all that's really missing is, well, more content! The framework is too good to only make such a small game out of.
While the kreds for upgrades situation should be fine (Some of those upgrades would make the game way too easy anyways), the hard badge is impossible without them. Frag Bombs, the upgrade that is free on ninjakiwi's own hosting of the game, is used in every single video I've seen of track 5 hard being cleared, because it makes the only means of killing moabs quickly possible. It makes for a good count of how many kong badges are hacked though. :/
After a week of toiling, I finally got through the impossible badge! :D Once you kill the Mayor, and can actually start leveling, the rest is a breeze :3 Speed bio ftw!
I gave up after 340 last year... Came back and got 782! :D Great game! I can't think of anything I'd change except maybe have spikes only hit once, so keeping limbs is useful.
