The experience system is infinitely better than in BTD4, where it was tooo slow and frustrating. Here it is fast enough to be fun. You probably have achieved the impossible : making a 5th episode of a series the best one.
The Geofovitch mission is absurd. Just knowing his name isn't enough information to know where he is in the line, even if they are ordered from A to Z. You can only guess.
I didn't see the spoiler about the school thing, my bad. Sorry for my previous comment. I tried to go to the upper part of the school though, but I didn't manage to go through that door.
looks cool, but 1) it's in Japanese and 2) it uses only WASD and not arrow keys, so peiople who don't have a QWERTY keyboard can't play it. The two make the game completely unplayable.
This is a nice continuation to the nanowar series and I really liked it. Only downside : for me the "blind mode" thing is a big joke. It actually *removes* the strategical depth from the game : a real strategy game is a game where you have all the information you want about your forces. If you want to give players a challenge, make a better AI for the hard mode (like Tentacle Wars 2 - their AI is pretty good). If you can't make a better AI, at least give the AI bonus units / better techs / better cells, instead of this ridiculous mode. 4/5 because I hate blind modes.
This game is much too glitchy. The graphical glitches when entering a building are extremely annoying. I killed the stop sign and the car crash never happened even though I entered and exited the area many times. I don't want to start over again so I'll stop playing. That's a shame, I really liked the concept.
So the people keep walking around in the street, occasionally pausing to smoke a cigarette, stepping over a bloody body when there is one, and going on with their daily lives. anything wrong? ;=)
The gameplay is great, but the ending is disappointing. 4/5 because I don't understand why planting a tree at the end protects you against the monster who wanted you to get the bloody seed (that guy should be the final boss IMO, because the owl is too easy).
To people who complain that the game is too easy and who want a hardcore mode : Start a new game, and play the Earth mission straight away (that means with $700 starting money and zero upgrades). I am convinced that it's possible. I made it up to level 8, and I tried only once. That's the hardcore mode you're looking for ;)
@Potato_Goes_Rawr : if you enter the last level with 10k, you can build basically whatever you want and it'll work. Mass railguns works just as well ;)
That's a joke, isn't it? An enemy sniper in a COMPLETELY BLACK doorway?? WTF? You can't even see him at full zoom! How are you supposed to find him?! That's it, I quit playing and watch the walkthrough instead.
