I'd like to see some different options in the shop. Spending 250 creds to get 500 tokens is irrelevant once you've done a few dozen resets, you can easily generate 500 tokens in 5-10 minutes after a reset. What I would like to see is an option to purchase an increase in token drops. Say something like 10 Kreds increases the number of tokens dropped by 5%, and so on. Right now I don't see anything in the shop I'd spend money on, but a token drop increase to me would be worth it, especially at later stages of the game.
Working on this! There will be 3 new purchases in the shop soon (reset Guardian Powers, Cooldown reset + gold earning, instantly turn all inactive Infinity Tokens active). After you earn 500 Infinity Tokens the token purchases also switch to % based ones. So you can buy +20% of your lifetime earned Tokens etc.
Loving this new update. Memory leak is gone! Things are running zippy fast, even after advancing 800 levels, whereas before it would start to chug around 400. Great work dev!
@keith075 - That could be because I have my Lucky Roll maxed out, so I get a 50% chance token drop? Not sure. Right now with my Force Multiply at level 46, I get 142% increase in number of tokens drop.
@keith075 - Your numbers are good for reference. My token estimate at level 250 was a bit low. I just did a reset, got abt 400 tokens by lvl 250, and then 1800 tokens by lvl 500. Good to know that the Lucky Roll (at level 25) and Force Multiply (at level 42) purchases were worthwhile for me. Although, the Force Multiply gets really expensive. For example, to go from lvl 42 to 43 needs 410 tokens. Expensive, but probably worth it in long run.
@DatenshiSan I've been playing from almost the beginning and I've never gotten anywhere near 2k tokens at the 250 level area, I've also done about 80 resets. I'm at 42 Force Mutliplier, I usually get 200-300 tokens at the 250 level area. If you're getting 500, then that *is* lucky. If at some point you were getting 2k tokens at 250, then it must have been a glitch (a fortunate one at that).
@TAPTAPINFINITY "... if you have any way to reproduce it or any insight into what it is that causes the leak ..." . I definitely get an issue with the memory leak myself. Don't know precisely how to produce it, but seems to gradually occur the more levels you advance. If, for example, you're already at a high DPS with infinity coins and upgrades, you restart at level 1 and advance very quickly through the levels, the game start to really lag around level 400. If you leave it running for an hour or so, you'll see the performance lag. Shutting down your browser and restarting clears it right up and everything's zippy fast again. Don't know if that helps or not :-)
It does - would be interesting to know if it was just Chrome, should be everything if it's really a memory leak but some players just don't seem to get it happening.
Class act devs. I wasn't too disappointed originally about having to pay for the power pack like others were, but am ecstatic now about getting it for free :D . Hope the higher ratings and extra game plays you get from this pays off in the end, would be well deserved.
@rado95 you've already got it, the features have been automatically applied. You'll get the hero rank notifications as you level up, you can see the auto-advance button on the right hand side just below your infinity coins, the hero purchase mutliplier is at the very top of your list of heroes on the left, and the "purchase all" skills button will appear at the bottom of your heroes list when you have skills to purchase.
To everyone trashing this game as a CH ripoff, you'd better also go back and downrate every cannon launcher game like Burrito Bison and Toss the Turtle, since by your definition, they're all ripoffs of Kitten Cannon (look it up). CH added a great new sub-genre to the idle game and is unique, just like kitten cannon was. Yes TTI is very similar to CH, but has awesome new graphics and other different features and stands on its own as a great game. Have you reached the guardians yet? Check it out after your second reset, very cool. And anyone who says there isn't "significant" costs around development, especially a high quality game like this, knows f*k all about *real* game development.
"... We’re not begging for ratings ...". Sorry, but when you ask players to rate a your game higher regardless of whether it actually deserves it or not, that *is* begging for ratings. I was a fan of this game from the early days, but am getting a bit weary of the poor solo developer plea, not to mention the affronted attitude that creeps into a lot of your responses to comments. I get it, you're development resources are limited. But it's a bit pretentious to ask for extra credit over other developers who put more time, people, and investment into their games. IMO, and I know I'll get massively downvoted for this post, but I believe this game got most of its momentum from fanboys who fantasize about the appealing main character of Catherine, not so much the gameplay itself, which wears thin after a couple of resets.
I'm also leaning towards the game having a good balance now. I don't mind that it takes a while for countries to be conquered. Especially with the later countries, I usually don't have enough gold to right away move on to the next one anyway. Granted, it does take a while and a good handful of resets before you have enough DKs to go on a rampage, but this is part of the whole idle philosophy: the game is supposed to run on its own for long periods of time, and take a while to progress. It would ruin things if, as @Yotsuba83 said, upgrades and gold gains increased so much that you could finish the game in a day, or even a week.
Wow, the last fragment of the level 18 medal cost 73 Quintillion. I think I'll wait until the new upgrades in the next patch come out. Awesome game still :D
Seriously @Isolde123? I just posted that answer five comments down! Put some effort into it and maybe read at least a few comments before posting a question.
For anyone interested in the last 3 upgrades, I finally just got them. And they *are* related to the supply boxes. The upgrades appear after you reach 150 supply boxes.
***edit: PATCHED!****Wow! Haha! Good catch, looks like something got left off with the achievement tooltips rewrite! Fixing now, will be hot patched ASAP! (ppst. its 100 per achievement, for all achievements. we will be adding even more achievements in the near future!
Fantastic update guys, some much needed features. Love the new mothership too! Really hope the game rating goes up now, you guys deserve a much higher number for all the hard work that's obviously gone into the game overall. Thanks!
