Could use some additional sound effects when special events happen, such as crate drops or alien appearances. I had the research page open, not realizing the magnet-head guy appeared behind the page. I only got in two clicks before he disappeared.
Not sure why this game is not rated higher. Possibly a lot of the scores came in before the manual clicking was eliminated (which would have drove me nuts). Hope people come back to re-rate, lots of great things about this game.
Wow, now 24 hours with this "FATAL ERROR", even after they said "... the issue has been identified ... working to resolve it as quickly as possible." I'm guessing they put together a solution for storing non-mobile gamesaves on the cheap, now they're paying for it. I also doubt anyone's really been working on this much over the past day, more likely it's the one guy who put together the savegame server is unreachable for the weekend. In either case, doesn't do a lot of good for reputation, or game rating. It's too bad, I was actually enjoying the game up until this happened ...
Definitely need the supply box warning timer. Supposed to be every 15 minutes, but I'm finding that it's not exact, sometimes almost 20 minutes. Enjoying the game a lot, great work guys!
Holy. It takes over a minute of waiting thru the same "loading" screen before playing the game. Come on devs, you are not "loading" **anything**, it's just a cheap way to get people to click the page out of frustration just to go to your site. Drop two stars rating just for that scam alone.
Uh-oh, think HH sold out to the mobile market. Have played for a while now, and love the retro look, but practical use of the new UI has some serious annoyances. The scrolling "Buy" button has to be the first thing to turf. Huge pain when trying not to buy something too expensive and you can't see the price. The spammy achievement flags are ok, but don't cover up the Donut Shop! And finally, serious loss of managability by not having side-by-side windows for market progress and upgrades. I now lose that little giddy feeling I used to have when buying an upgrade and immediately seeing my cash-per-second spike up. HH, you guys took a big risk with the overhaul and I'm still a big fan (from beginning). Slick design, but get ready for lots of rage spew from the masses :-(
Movement is wonky. Seems to take a few extra steps after I stop moving. Hitbox also is about twice the size of the player, not fun. Some great potential though, and glad to see you're working on improving things. 3/5 from me for now.
Just a tip for buying upgrades faster. Set your browser to full screen, and then zoom in say around 150%, or whatever your monitor will fit. The game scales up too with the window, so you see more upgrades per page. Doesn't speed up the process dramatically, but is a bit less painful for those of us who buy all the upgrades en masse after a reset.
As we don't have high scores yet, I'm curious how many AIs other people have. I know I'm definitely not the highest, but I have been playing from the beginning and think I'm up there. After tonight's reset I'm at 49 sextillion angels.
I'm about fed up with developers not having separate mute for music and sound. Should be an automatic feature in game design by now, don't you think? Annoying.
Don't get why this game is rated so high. Yes the upgrade system is pretty cool. And yes the interface and options are top notch and polished, right up to JMTB02's high standards. However, the core game play itself is extremely repetitive and redundant. There are only four items total in every run: coins, balloons, mines, and springs. The back ground never changes. Sorry, but this seems a lot more like a promo for the Kongpanions than it does an actual fully developed game. Maybe I'm missing something?
Spent 50K on Nyan Zombie only to have a *very* intermittently working people magnet. Seriously, I died just now with a human running within arm's reach in front of me. No magnet. That, plus the massively obvious need for a boost hot key drop this down to a 3/5.
Bombs should also remove enemy bullets. Also I think the rocks gotta go, or have some other way to remove besides running into them. They just seem like an odd distraction. Outside of that, very well done! Having tons of fun with the great game play and leveling up thru the skill tree. Top marks.
Not bad, but the fourth level gets way too laggy to the point where can't even fire. Interface could use a bit more polish i.e. glow around buttons on hover, end stage transitions, spelling, etc.
