The 2nd boss was bugged for me - moved off screen and screwed up my game. The enemies spawn way too slowly - perhaps this is lag which is odd for a game with such simple graphics and lack of action. Upgrades aren't noticeable at all - I'd nearly maxed out my damage upgrade and the guys that took two hits still took two hits. To pause the game you can't press "P" or escape - you have to click the pause button which makes you lose accuracy and therefore money. Towers are complete shit since you should be killing things long before they get to you - spend a bunch of money upgrading their range and they still don't get a chance to fire. This game has potential though - but the bugs and a few poor design choices wreck it.
Yeah the lag is getting way too annoying. Basically, if you are hit once then you die. I'm on the magnetic level and I would've won several times now but the keys get stuck and make me move into death or just don't respond at all.
You need to give the ship a certain number of hits because having the "shield" up at 100% is rare. Fixing that and implementing an upgrade system would take this game into the top 5.
This game should be rated higher. It is quite good, but there does seem to be a lag problem - maybe my keys are just sticking? Anyway, it is getting really annoying and killing me way too often.
I love how the "continuous waves" button covers the map so you accidentally click it when trying to place units. That was a really great feature since it killed me.
Have i mentioned how fun it is to make a driving game where you keep on turning after you stop pressing the button so you can't actually aim? This is made even more enjoyable by the numerous indestructible obstacles all over the map.
The shield path is much easier than the double shot path. Not only does the shield massively extend your lives, but you can get "side pods" to make yourself invincible from the side - and they shoot! The double shot path gives you stupid rotating pods that are much harder to use effectively - and they don't shoot.
I'd prefer being able to choose my upgrades rather than being limited to two paths.
Horrible controls, horrible gameplay, horrible upgrades.....
You can't replay levels to get money and if you get some upgrades then it screws you up - getting acceleration eats up your fuel massively so you have to spend more time trying to pick up the stupid fuel powerups with your out of control vehicle.
1/5 for having to pay for premium content. There is an additional penalty for being British. Perhaps you can "upgrade" my rating by getting rid of the premium shit and making it free?
Seems to be a bug, I was on the "too many bosses" level and killed everything and yet it wouldn't end. Perhaps it was because I used the used the revive spell on the enemies?
It appears that every time you use the defend command it increases your physical resistance and lowers your defense permanently if you end the battle in defense mode. My wizard and healer now have over 100 physical resistance at level 2.
The easy way of doing the door puzzle is to break the horizontal door by standing next to it so you don't drop through it when you break it. You can then lower your strength to drop through onto the other horizontal door and then you move right (increase strength) and break through the remaining vertical doors.
I didn't like this one. The merc buying screen should tell you how long it takes for something to spawn. I didn't want to buy gunships and yet this unit is apparently the god unit in the game. Snipers, which i like in most games, are utterly useless since they take forever to spawn, are killed in one hit, can't hurt fast moving ships or armored units, and therefore suck against the the aforementioned "gunship" unit. Rocket units, supposedly good against armor, suck against them.
This game was not balanced or playtested well, but you'll still get 5/5 from all your fans.
