Wow, I see the game has been upgraded since yesterday. It's MUCH harder now that you don't slow down when you're hit. I'm glad I finished the game already, because I don't know if I'll be able to, now. :P
The puzzles aren't terrifically difficult, but the controls make it harder, and all the ones I've played (5 levels) took a long time to walk around and complete. Dying because of the bad controls meant it took even longer than it should have, and was pretty irritating. 2/5
Oh, and I actually like the idea behind the rocks. They're something completely different inside the game, and makes it more than just a "move and shoot" to kill everything. I like that there are obstacles that you can remove by charging head long into them. :) I think removing those will make this closer to being just like all the other shooters.
I think the game is quite well done. I DO wish there was an end to the regular mode. Like when you beat the last boss, open up an endless mode for people who want that. I could have gone on indefinitely after I got the healing with the bomb, and had to consciously kill myself to stop. Great game!
Finally hit orange switch. I was so relieved that it stayed pressed, even after death. I can't imagine getting to level 30 for the hard badge. This game is nuts!
The leaf set makes you effectively unkillable. If you can get a piece with +crit chance, you'll be in a near constant state of regeneration, and you're stronger while regenerating. It might not be the fastest set for killing stuff, but I cleared normal mode with it without breaking a sweat.
I love this game, but I hit a bad bug. I was standing on a store when I teleported to the next level (the portal was on the store) and now the store interface won't disappear. I tried going to a new store to buy stuff, and it took my money without giving me anything.
Poor writing, text too fast, clunky controls, ridiculous story (he passed out from dehydration on his way to his sister's school? Really? Is it in another city?) I mean, I don't expect zombie games to be great, but this is pretty terrible.
Quite buggy. Hotkeys for special(s) didn't work (I only bought one, and wasn't going to waste money on the others). Kids would randomly fall over when nothing hit them. Pathetically easy.
I think objective 3 killing the red boss doesn't show up if you blow him up with a bomb (just a guess). I restarted objective 3 and made sure to take him down with my blaster, and it worked. Still, only played it to get the badge. It's not a great game.
The yellow room is not worth the cost. Maxing out all the different rooms, the orange, green, and purple rooms are far superior. Given the high cost of the yellow room, compared to the others, and the fact that it's a unique room, I expected more bang for my buck.
This chapter wasn't even all that scary, really, but I had chills the entire time, waiting for something to jump out at me and scare the hell out of me. I love these games. :D
I enjoyed it quite a bit. I like that you got a big boost in power with each new ship, plus new capabilities. However, the individual upgrades didn't seem to do much, so that slowed down the pace of the game a fair bit. 4/5
Seems pretty poorly thought out. I beat level 6, and just can't get into this game. I don't hate it. I just feel like it's not well balanced and not very fun. 2/5
