I think I'm rating this game 5/5 more because I'm so sick of all the idle games, and it's nice to play something that requires at least a little bit of playing.
By the end of the game, I got a great sense of satisfaction when I'd buy one scout, and get all the way up to the final galactic level. This was a really fun game. I'm sad it didn't continue, but I suppose this style of game can't go on forever.
Game crashes to a black screen sometimes... often when I lose a mission. Pity, because I was enjoying this game, but having to reload the game all the time is really obnoxious. Downgrading to 3/5 because it was good at the start.
War made this game a lot less "idle" - why isn't tribute from villages just added to your production? Clicking all those towns to shake them down is tedious.
Getting to a point where I'm stuck. And the times to wait are getting ridiculous. The game won't even let me play it anymore, which is too bad, because it was enjoyable. Off to look for the next game, I guess.
I usually skip trying new Idle games lately. I haven't enjoyed any in a while, until this one showed up. I don't know WHY I like this one more than the others... the underlying structure is the same, with a game that plays itself. But I like seeing those insane numbers of bugs growing, growing. And then CHOMP! Eat them all to make something bigger. Then growing, growing... :)
The opening line of the game: "Ahh, you must be sister Angelia." Her name is Angelina. And Sister should be capitalized, used in this way. So tired of these cash grab games with stories so poorly written they assume you're not going to read them... 1/5 and not even going to try it.

Hint: Activating a checkpoint means you go back to it, at the state you were in. Once set, I don't think you can "re-save" to save your progress. Did a bat room with rocks, left with 5 arrows, pressed Space at the checkpoint and went back to having 0 arrows. Frustrating.
From The Peasant - actually every time you get reset to 0 everything, no matter how you were when you first get to the checkpoint.
From Daniel - We should probably put in a warning that asks if you are sure you want to activate the checkpoint, and explains that levels and enemies are reset. Thanks for the comment.
"Your eyes and ears have adapted well. Perhaps you will live through the tutorial..." unless of course you accidentally let go of shift and get eaten by a rat. That would be unfortunate, idiot." :P
Use all powerful ranged units on level 20 to blast through three groups. Someone who heals is a good idea. When you get to the room with Luke, the Storm Trooper and Vader, ignore them, jump up into the room with the clone tanks, and once you get in the boss room, you can skip level 20 to fight him from the map. Level 20 is really, really hard, so it might take a few tries and getting lucky.
Fixed, Thanks!
