Cinematics are decent, nice gfx, like what you did with the ground attack units. A little low on depth compared to some other defense games, but plays well.
The art and feel is nice, but as a game it's extremely simple, very little intrinsic challenge in the puzzles themselves, and the game doesn't lend itself to a high feeling of interactivity.
Add a score for each spike dodged, this should be easy enough. Also it would be nice to have some bonuses pop up from time to time, such as a temporary speed upgrade, or shield. Also the spikes are a little eager to kill you, seem to collide a bit early when approaching from above.
Last boss - it seems to alternate between a damaging attack, and a non-damaging attack. It never does it's next attack on the same row it just did a non-damaging attack. -TsuQ
Heh, kinda reminds me of achievement unlocked in tone. Game is okay, simple, upgrade system (for the ship) is pretty nice.
I wouldn't have minded a few more graphics upgrades, and more, and variable priced ending upgrades!! Heh.
Liked this game v. much, sequel or level pack please - =] - A simple expansion would be to let you toggle to different color box-men, each one could have different a different effect when colliding in the different possible ways.
