Ok, this entire time I was playing on turbo thinking "Well hell, I don't need it to be slower. It's not like my reactions are the problem.", but I constantly found my attack to be totally insufficient. Most levels consisted of me trying to last out a horde of enemies until the end where they'd eventually leave and/or I could slowly pick them off, as enemies would spawn way, way faster than I could ever destroy them, even with 100% offensive upgrades. Then, about 2 mins ago, I was curious to see just how slow the game was back when it first came out and thus tried "slow" only to be extremely confused when my wep/movement spd didn't change. I realized damn, no wonder I couldn't kill things fast enough, your ship is entirely unaffected by lvl speed. That's...kinda silly imo, but I guess it's better that I found out now than continuing to try to farm measly little 5% ship upgrades in hopes of standing some fraction of a chance of beating the "bad" levels that are now pie easy...

Idk, it feels like things never really move along, like we're doing pretty much the same things over and over. That's especially frustrating because there's very little challenge at all to anything, I get perfects on every level without any trouble at all (unless maybe one of those retarded witches or w/e manages to weave their way in at the very beginning). Then, on top of it, not only does the enemy not seem to get any harder, but that also means they don't seem to drop any more money. So basically there's no real challenge to it, no real reason to upgrade, and even if there was we get basically no gold to get new units/equipment anyways. Unfortunately, if you add all that up, what you get is an awfully lackluster, unexciting experience. There's potential here, I can definitely see that, but as it stands the poor scaling and general aimless, uneventful feel of the game overshadows what fun, interesting aspects there are.

A cactus man and a half-bird lady with feathers all over her? Do they live happily ever after in the end, as a very freaky couple? How does she handle making love to a guy who's also a very prickly plant? Does she have a vag, or a cloaca? Why is she not shocked in the beginning when she comes across a walking, talking, treasure hunting cactus? Will we get answers to these questions? Will the madness ever end?!

The art style is nice, and it feels right, but it's overall simply far too simplistic. There's really not much to keep a person playing. Oh, and lasers shouldn't be killing us in one damned shot. We already have few enough lives/shields already, we don't need anything else exacerbating the situation...

I'm glad someone mentioned this game elsewhere so I knew about it. Well...have you ever read or watched something where, when you finish, you get this strange feeling like you were somehow just meant to see it, that it takes everything you're struggling with and puts it into words, at very least making you feel less alone? That's what this felt like. The "writing on the wall" is always on my mind. Logic seems to always lead to those same conclusions, yet when I attempt to confide in those around me they tell me I just think too much. At least this helps me realize I'm not alone in wrestling with those thoughts. Purely as a game it may not be the best, but whatever it lacks in game...iness, it more than makes up for in narrative. I must ask; if you lived in Greece then Germany, and just judging by your name, when did you have the chance to become so fluent in English? And does that mean not only do you write that well, but do so in at least 3 languages? Who the heck are you, brother?

Wow. Wow. Wow. Holy shit wow. You honestly didn't f*cking fix the bug with the rune blade? After weeks of being on god damned armorgames and people saying over and over again "Hey, the rune blade is bugged. It's literally, like, a game breaking bug. They sit in my inventory and I can't do anything about it. You really need to fix this". And here I was feeling bad about having rated the game poorly over there because I thought you didn't give a crap enough about it to even fix the bugs...well, apparently I was right, except to make it worse not only do you apparently not care to fix it, but on top of it you're willing to keep uploading it broken. Sorry, but as fine as this might be otherwise, there's no way I'm giving this more than a 1/5. There is no possible legitimate reason for the same bugs that were a problem when the game was first released to still be present other than sheer laziness.

Did you fix some of the bugs that were on the armorgames version? Cause if so I'll be very happy. I found this game oddly fun, I'm not entirely sure why...Oh, and for those talking about their dragon not hatching; there's a reason it says that giving it a stone starts the hatching PROCESS. It doesn't just suddenly hatch, you have to run around with it for a while. Once it gets enough experience, then it will hatch. And as to the snow wizard, idk, I actually thought it was easier than average, even though I've seen a bunch of people complain about how hard it is. Maybe I'm doing something different without realizing it...

Awesome game, but I'm terribly confused as to what exactly the "golden blaster" is supposed to be, why it's on my upgrade screen constantly, and if it's supposed to be made with those parts, where we find them. Also: Golden blaster? Chyea, I have one of those in between my legs...sorry, I had to.

Oh, I see what's going on here...you removed all the damned checkpoints if you're on hard. Medium is way too easy, hard is annoyingly hard, primarily because of the entire making us complete the entire level in one shot thing, but also because you give us no extra health, and almost no items. I like all the extra enemies on hard, and the number of items on medium is excessive, but you kinda don't give us much option as to what to play on when part of your definition of "hard" is making us replay the same parts over and over again, even when we've already proven we can beat them numerous times...

My only problem is the lack of checkpoints. Normal difficulty is too easy imo, but the problem is that you either A) just stay with it, because although it may be too easy, you NEED the level to be easy due to the fact that you have to do the majority of it in a single go, or B) go hard so that it's actually fun and challenging, but then have all that fun get killed after you've had to fight through the exact same 2/3 of a level over and over and over again until you ultimately fall just a bit too far or wind up getting hit twice, which is usually all it takes, and are forced to start over. There needs to be more checkpoints, period. Oh, and it might be nice to have more grenades, because they're probably the most fun thing in the game.

I'm trying to keep calm, despite the building rage...but as childish as it sounds, I went from liking this dev to absolutely f*cking hating them with all my being after having spent as long as I have trying to beat motherf*cking challenge 5. The longest I took on any one of the other 4 was maybe 25 minutes, tops, w/ only about 2/3 of achieves on top of it. The fifth? I think I've spent a combined total of 6 hours over 3 periods trying to beat it, even with all achievements. I waste my time which only makes me all the more determined to beat it, and it's simply not f*cking realistic. Perhaps that's why most hard badges on games this old usually have tens of thousands of people who have completed them, and this shit has 1315, despite how long its been around. Again, perhaps it's childish, but I really don't care. Whether the dev is stupid, airheaded, or just sadistic, either way nobody who doesn't deserve hatred would ever do that.

Developer response from SoulGame

Hey, why do you try so hard to get the badge if you don't have fun doing it ? :) Anyway, challenges was designed for people looking for more hardcore experience, I understand it could be very frustrating.

two things; first off, hakkoun is right; not resetting fuel does nothing but force someone to restart the level every time they fail. Second, all rocket speeds take up the same amount of fuel for some reason. That...doesn't seem to make any sense. This would be a fairly good idea if you just made it more purely a puzzle game and focused more on route efficiency and whatnot rather than trying to shove other elements in there where they really don't belong.
