Yet another cash grab, cant go 5 minutes in w/out the microtransactions being shoved in your face. Art itself looks out of place w/ main char being decent/good and everything else being shit; main is prob an asset from another game being reused to look more polished
I tried it, wanted to like it, got to lvl 16.
short version: cash grab
long version, extremely grindy, inventory and boosts locked behind micro transactions, poor execution of level and flow ranging from ships outside of
player weapon range (untargetable) to beamer bosses that if rng catches you in their beam, you instantly die
It's is grindy. But in 4 hours you should unlock everything without drop a single penny. Maybe is too much? I don't think so, but i'l raise the exp rate by 10%.
By the way, i'm sorry for the micro transactions, but you know. Bills aren't gonna pay by themselves.
I try to make the transactions as superfluous as possible. But they are necessary.
Getting frustrating to play your games. You're ambitious, clearly by the multiple games you've released. That said, you've mentioned its basically yourself and each and every one of your games is not finished and honestly just adding more games to the list of to be finished, results in games I just don't want to play.
This is a chapter game, it is complete just will have one more update. Kong has very strict file sizes that devs are limited to, so sometimes it can take weeks to get to upload properly. This is however the complete first game introducing the story, and is the first of the 9 total witch's tail games I'm hoping to develop Sorry you feel that way!
Other issues: red chest top of 1st f11, no clue how to get it or its lootable (id assume it has smth to do w/ vine next to it but doesn't do anything). 2nd is more an xp issue, monsters arent respawning and Ive got a party of 20ish a 17, and 2 bench warmers at lvl 3 and 4. From an xp perspective, I don't want to divide limited xp so it kills any chance I would have/want to develop the other 2; 17 is the priest and maybe id include him w/ greater heal, but honestly 4 dps is prob the best bet
Soon you will unlock an item that gives xp to reserve party members. You were supposed to be able climb that vine so I will fix that with this next patch too.
secret room dragon king loading error: failed to load image...As far as the bird boss, was challenging at 1st (13 green crystal shards later...) The main challenge is our inability to use items to clear status effects on other chars than self, and as far as i can tell, they dont clear on their own; 1 stun or freeze and theyre useless the rest of the fight
Phestus pretty much summed it up, nice to see ya again buddy, can't use the same engine for 4+ years and not get a ton of negative feedback for doing it. Sure it cuts costs, but gameplay is the same each time and graphically like shit compared to something more modern. Add on that most ccgs are just utter trash heaps for micro transactions, why aren't you surprised?
Hey Wyvern25, thanks for your honest comment. We knew there would obviously be negative feedback, we are aware of what we are doing, but this is our only current way of doing things given our current situation. We are working as hard as we can so we can build different games, but to reach that point we needed to create the engine and create different themes for our TCGs that we have released over the last 5 years. We hope we can give you some (actual) new stuff soon. Again, thanks for your comments.
Cross platform game done right, sequel w/ new elements, easy 5/5! Only issue I had was 2 or 3 reloads where I moved a piece and it did not clear properly which soft locked the lvl
love the honesty here.. dev responds to earlier comment and says its not a mobile port yet its available in the playstore mobile market...and we wonder why kong is going to shit...also, if your resolution looks like its meant for a phone, really stupid to lie and say its not
It was made for kongregate. After 3 week was released on google store. where you can se it have 10 downloads or so? I'm just letting people who enjoy it play on mobile. I don't support mobile development.
1st off, played the game all the way through. As it stands, the game is relatively enjoyable yet highly flawed. The aoe towers +range/spd are basically all you need for all but a few specialty lvls. Fundamental flaws: game speed is incredibly slow and if you send all it removes the speed up button, once you've beaten all lvls there is no way to grind to acquire anything (awful game design). This brings me to the cash shop, it is extremely poorly designed and either dev made it as a near joke because the game is so easy and rng rates so bad, or it was designed to be the center of this game and dev balance completely screwed it up into pointless. If its the 1st kuddos to dev for not forcing a cash shop garbage game on us. If its the 2nd, which the cynic in me suspects, look at something like king of towers, its a garbage model that you should abandon
Good game. Would have appreciated a little more difficulty at the end; last couple seem challenging but multiple solutions work which made it a bit easier than prob intended
Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I try to allow for good multiple solutions but a couple trivial solutions in the later levels of the mobile/steam versions did get past me. Those have been patched.
interesting game ruined by timer on death lockout mechs; didnt get far enough to see the extent, but premium currency upgrades to give slot (wep/armr/etc) advantage, that's some pretty nasty shit and a 1/5 for me
Proficient city "dev" response" Dear (copy paste name) glad to hear/thank you, followed by an incoherent stream of broken english that barely makes sense and doesn't answer/address OPs post...doesn't come off as the laziest and sleeziest response at all, really makes me want to jump into such a low effort game...that was already released....
typical scum dev behavior, reupload of a game (3rd time come on...) w/ minimal changes in order to qualify for monthly cash prize. If its not this, creates a game he drops support in a manner of weeks to create the next entry for monthly cash prize...
This it not reupload, this is a sequel, the game has been completely remade from grounds up (different engine), and while the premise is similar, the whole metagame is different than prequels. The DX version has almost half a million plays and had 10 major content updates released for free over the span of few months, and after the last update went live, I've announced the rework/sequel and most players agreed that it's necessary to keep the game healthy and growing. So yes, typical scum dev doing what's best to keep the players happy and playing ;)
