Well, level 10 was easily the hardest. Level 11 after it was pretty straightforward, and 12 was downright simple (except for the bot strangely not stopping even if he was finished, so I had to make a few alterations but whatever)
Are there no checkpoints or anything? Because for me whenever I die it sticks to the death screen and refreshing takes me to the beginning. I remember the ending to the game from years ago (god damnit by the way), but I'd like to see it again firsthand
Towards thee I roll, thou all destroying but unconquering whale! To the last I grapple with thee, from Hell's heart I stab at thee, for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee! Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! And since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned whale! Thus, I give up the spear
@woljtek3000 it's actually proZD, he has a very successful youtube channel if you look him up. I'm sort of amazed to find him on such a tiny flash game like this.
On a side note, working to get 120 stars and (so far) 2839 points on this game has made me realize, 60 points for an impossible badge is NOT enough
Still a fun game, with great (and free downloadable!) music. Not a huge fan of the "get all the medals to win" mechanic, especially since it's not stated and that's something a lot of people just look past and ignore. Especially since "winning" is one of the medals! And it's not even like, last or something! It's practically right in the middle!
I feel like stars or similar should be a challenge to get, but almost all of them in this game are basically right on the necessary path to completion. They don't really need to exist if all they're encouraging us to do is complete the level normally, as we would without them there at all.
Huh. Finished in 11 minutes, definitely a lot of cool ideas here. Wish it was a bit more fleshed out, a pause button would've been nice. I can't say I hate the unforgiving nature, it all works well together. Two of the rooms had the same quote which was weird.
I wish that once you have 3 stars on a level, there could be an option to skip the slow buildup and get straight to the main action. When you're trying to get up to those dev scores it becomes pretty annoying having to wait ~30 seconds to get up to the 5 seconds of really fun and intense gameplay that actually matters.
Wish that the knife didn't take up one of your valuable two weapon slots. Not much of a fix to everyone asking for a melee option when you're an idiot to keep it beyond the second stage
Awesome having the dev's high score stat added in, makes me feel great for my better scores when they manage to beat the dev. Just got to 101 stars, and now I'm realizing the hard part of the impossible badge isn't even the starts, it's the score... oh no
