The zoom on some levels is ridiculous. There's no reason for any level to have a zoom, given how far out we've seen the map at times. Some levels, like crossroads, are smaller than even the starting levels! It wouldn't be so bad if the scrolling wasn't so awfully slow, but it is. Seriously should've just had the maps take up the screen and been done with it
only flaw I can really see is how when the guys pop out of the ground, you can't tell what enemy type they are until they land and start shooting. Other than that pretty solid game
lefts and rights switching are pretty disorienting, I would prefer if they just moved the characters their logical perspectives (right is clockwise, left is counterclockwise). Makes it hard to predict how they'll move when you're using the reaction time after firing, and can't see them.
Um, the L and J pieces don't rotate correctly (I mean it's its own game, but like according to the norm and the original game).
I find the movement a bit wonky, the delay between the first movement and the subsequent moves when holding down left or right is too large.
There's also no music, and no hard drop. Still though, it's tetris. Like the name
The game's good, but it gets very boring very fast. With so many of the recurring choices having clear correct and incorrect decisions (never say no the mouse, never say yes to the ghost, etc etc) it's just a grueling grind while you wait 15 days between meaningful events that actually concern the overall goal. I liked it a lot at first but wish it would just end before it dragged itself out so long.
Good music at least
kick opponent button does nothing, I've tried on multiple computers and it still won't work. With kong account, with guest account, won't work for some reason. Real annoying because it then gets counted as me idling out of the game
you don't need to refresh to respawn, right click and then select "play" or "rewind" and it'll take you to the main menu, where you just hit continue.
On a related note, the first boss is bugged and invincible for me.
cool concept, but the time limit really shows, as the big squares don't have much of a weakness (especially the near-eternal white seeker bits), and the progression gets so quick so suddenly, while restarting stays slow.
Still though, it was an interesting concept, and the blue level especially showed promise! (and yes, I'm aware this game is 6 years old)
love the Papers Please references scattered throughout (as well as the loads of other references, I just love Papers Please especially).
These games never get old
