I like how now the level ending animation plays for the special plumbers too, and doesn't revert them all back to normal form. Nice touch, I can imagine it took you a while to make all the art.
The problem with the narrative is that the blue guy never REALLY does anything to help you. You're the one that figures out the death trap, and the blue guy only ever gives you encouragement-but not actual advice. It'd be cool if you walked into a level and at first it was impossible, but then he made it possible. Or if instead of skipping the level, it had the blue guy give you a hint
Enemies definitely should NOT destroy the crumbling platforms, they can literally make it impossible to do even before you can see them. That's not extra challenge, that's just unfair
This game is really nice and smooth, and even just appealing to look at. A tip for anyone struggling with the slow respawns: just press r as soon as you die. You will come back almost immediately without having to wait for the animation!
Wow, I remembered this game being insanely difficult so I started off on the normal difficulty, and then beat it on the second generation. Go me! In a short 5 years, I have gotten slightly better at this flash game! :D
The upgrade that increases your maximum number of employees should only increase the salary of the employees you buy AFTER getting the upgrade. Actually, after passing the previous maximum. Because that upgrade will just destroy you if you get it early. It's literally like a ticking time bomb; you need to save up tons of money so you can get it because afterwards, no matter what you do, your money just slowly trickles away
I know it's been a long time, but I've loved this game for a long time ^_^ Since electric box 1, actually (but this one is waaay better). I hope you decide to make more games, and if not, thank you very much for the amazing ones you did make! You've definitely contributed a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people, myself included. You rock!
The animations are amazing. That falling block part on level 3 was astounding. A lot of time, effort, and planning obviously went into making this masterpiece. 5/5 for me.
The only major change I would make is that I would give an indication of which pieces can and cannot be moved. It's a little bothersome having to mouse over all of the pieces to check first, and then remember them all later. Other than that though, it's a very involved puzzle game, and has great visuals and audio! Nice job!
The hotkey system could have been better. You can't set it to areas in the menu, the map, for example. It would be great to be able to set a hotkey to the map, or even the armor/weapons section, so you could easily check out a new weapon
Thank you very much for the comment.
