Interesting concept... looks like you had this idea for a Gameboy?...
you did a good job. Anyway when selecting a tool we should get some info of that tool. The enemies look almost the same What the point of all begin black balls with eyes? you could have a tall enemy for vertical and a fat enemy for horizontals for example. I was hoping to control more that one robot at some point. Bonus points for the story but the gameplay could use some work. Cheers~
Thanks, great comments! I completely agree with all of them. This was a game jam game developed in a week, so if I'd had more time I think it would've been very helpful to incorporate some of these suggestions. (I was actually planning on multiple robots from the start, but ran out of time.) Maybe I'll have a chance to put some more time into it some day.
Ok, i see a lot of ppl complaining about losing ppl on 0% missions. Most players forget that every character has health and on most missions they lose some of it. The amount is tiny but if you use the same guys over and over it will stack and suddenly your character will die. There are other factors that makes missions riskier, having at least one character with critical health or having low morale/food are some examples. This extra risk is not calculated within the mission danger %. So keep your morale, food and health high and you will be fine. +this if you think others should know.
Yep, nothing beats Underwear (Castity belt and Lingerie too) when it comes to strongest armor, everyone knows that the percentage of meat showed is directly proportional to the defense rate. Thats like the first chapter of "Adventuring 101".
The memory leak is a serious issue here. every 10-20 missions i have to restart browser to keep it smooth. Just like "Inc. Corporation" awesome games but with leaks that disrupt gameplay. Also missions are just a bit harsh (you have little clues about how hard a quest will be) a "recomended lv" would be VERY appreciated. I will try to keep going and give a more extensive feedback once i complete the main story. Cheers~
@SeanC29 i got to lv18 without losing any mission until drakes :P. So i am guessing you are missing something... are you giving weapon/armor to your guys? if you are having trouble go for the missions that dont require to kill the monsters. Also remember to build 1 of each building. (but dont hire any tutor yet) And in the worse case scenario you can allways wait a few months.
I was kinda fun. but... Bugs everywhere. 1) The GUI gets confused over equipment names, they dont seem to add any buff and sometimes it will just delete them. 2) Getting a clerk over Base Speed Lv10 will make them pop out of existence when trying to restock. (you have to close the game at least once after it gets to speed 11) 3) Unclaimed Quests are removed/claimed when you close the game 4) Hero or Victim dont seem to update properly 5) i had 5 clerks and 7 security, but when looking into the Employment/Security Equipment tab it will only display 1 clerck and 2 security (and in a weird way). Thats only bugs, not counting the hard to click issues, or the unability to rotate booths in all 4 directions, the unpleasant colors when selecting something or the anoying flashing gift. Still the game have quite some potential. i enjoyed it and hope this much feedback prove to be usefull. Cheers~
Game is kinda fun. But it has a few flaws. 1) Money: either give us more weapons to buy or give some use after you bought all weapons (maybe allow us to buy ammo, powerups, ect). 2) Tokens: they are way too limited, you need too much grinding and you cant reset your stats. 3) Unbalanced: there is a lot of features here, Heal stations, Ammo stations, Guard Posts, Defenses... but i wont use any of them because having 3-5 npcs with me in a corner is WAY more effective. 5) Plataforms: Down+Jump is not implemented. 4) Ammo: each weapon should have its own ammo. or the GUI should allways tell you how many rounds you can shoot with the weapown you are holding. 5) Repetitive: there are many diferent rooms, a bunch of diferent enemies and some diferent weapons. still you will get stuck with the pistol most of the time. rooms get boring after you found them all and enemies are not that diferent when it comes to gameplay. However the mine launcher was quite some fun :3. Cheers~
Nice game. A bit confusing to start though. A suggestion for any new player: try to keep 10-50% of your max population alive at all times. Also, for anyone wondering: 120 Life = 1 in-game day. Cheers~
ohh... so the corrupt button was there the whole time :o. it only shows when your wanted level is positive, i see, i see... well now the game just got a bit easier but thats ok :). btw i forgot to comment about the music which merges with the game perfectly and goes almost unnoticed. And since i am making a new post, some fun archievements ideas: 1) making an cruiser missile shoot down some interceptors, 2) having more than 5 interceptor following you "peacefully", 3) ships killing each other then blaming you for it, 4) getting killed by some derbis explosion. Cheers~
awesome game :D... though, "corrupt enemies" means destroying the alien ship right? because thats the only way i know to lower your wanted level. anyway the background is outstanding. the dificulty is just right and the upgrades are great. Bigger asteroids should give us a bit more coins, 1-3 maybe?. and we should be able to chose keybindings, in that regard change mission should not be selected with the mouse (it disrupts gameplay) maybe [Space]? and as Storageheater said, i also would like to be able to turn off the engines or maybe control my ship with keyboard instead of mouse. Cheers~
Quite fun game, some suggestions include: hotkeys, hotbar, FFx10 or less repetitive battles, a bit more story, transform remaining energy into experience of that particular kind. Flawless victory (take no hits) gives you bonus experience (maybe x2). And just one more thing to say: "How are you Gentlemen !!..." :D
well... i can see you put a lot of effort in the game. And its quite interesting to see how everything makes sense after a few tries. but its too much trial and error for me... cheers~
There is a bug where if you have nothing in your crystal box they will still "steal" them and reward you "ghost crystals" for killing them. probably unintended but i like the idea of more risk=more rewards. but... as many others have said the enemies scalate too fast. Drones and mercenaries are way too weak (or too expensive). some suggestions include: add a Healing station so your mercenaries dont die too quickly OR heal mercenaries after each wave AND allow to keep powerups sorted (maybe with hotkeys) instead of droped on the floor AND allow us to open/close doors (so we can do some flood control). Hope this is enough feedback. cheers~
Fun and quick game... Can you allow us to chose the income for the AI? since the base is 15 maybe something between 10 and 100? that way the game gets a lil bit of replayability :). Or maybe allow us to add more AIs to the same battle. a 4 front battle to take over the planet sound quite fun to me :D
I wonder how many players auto-click Hellstone Lv50 at maximum efficiency without some kind of cheating (changing your date, the use of autoclicker or plain hacking the variables are all ways of cheating btw). I for instance feel that around lv40 when Blacksmith skill hits the cap, the game loses most its charm. Is anyone else having similar thoughts?
@Joshy thats not completly true. when you get enough upgrades you wont mind losing many jewels for a chance to get a +400% pick (that is 4 times your base). instead try to pick a reasonable minimum quality and calculate if a pick that good with the current base would be better that the one you allready have. :)
