uhm... i may have found an exploit... each tentacle sends the total production of the cell, meaning that you can duplicate production as long as every tentacle is assigned. I know that the AI is able to do the same but you clearly have the upper hand. Every level got incredible easy after i undertood this. Great game btw.
We go from the stable, to the mine, to an spooky cave, into the core of the earth. then we go to the moon, into the sun, find the core of the galaxy, travel into diferent realms find the very core of existence and then... we go mine in hell? really?... for 2237 tiers? ._. hellstone is the strongest material?... i dunno... it would make more sense tu put "Unobtanium" or "Eternium" there... just my opinion though. Quite fun game btw, enjoyed every bit. would love some backgrounds and i can even make them if you want. Cheers~
I think the big crack on the overlay is due of the many, many deads from the start of the left path (very last level). probably not intended but hilarious the same :3
Not as good as cave story, but enjoyed almost the same :)... both the game, theme and controls are really great. This mechanic needs to be included in some long game, or the story of this character expanded.
music: 4.5, graphics: 4.0, puzzles: 4.5, originality: 5+, learning curve: 4.5, story: 3.5. Boss is amazing but kind of short.
come on guys have you seen the "developers" and the description of this game? this is most probably stolen (or maybe fake). the real devs could be still developing the game and maybe got some kind of leak. But i may be wrong, so i invite "DevSean" and "Attack2100" to say otherwise.
Learning curve is the real issue here. sure this is a rouge-like game but those are expected to be lots of fun even when you die and somehow randomly generated. this game is boring, repetitive, and takes quite some time to learn. not only that but after you get into it and start to feel involved the enemies dissapoint you more and more. Not everything is lost, The Weapon itself is kinda cool and some bosses and fun to figure out so i propose you a few options to make this game... enjoyable: 1) Lives (like 3 deaths and you have to start over), 2) Enemy HP (make enemies start with low hp but get more as you progress) 3) Player HP (give a lot more hp to the player and make enemies inflict more damage as the game progress). 4) Weapons (allow the player to pick diferent weapons [Example: pulse, laser, bullet, missile])... i hope this much is enough to save this game.
i would like the arena to be more like making programs and less like having the last weapown avalible. What about some kind of puzzles? where you have to drag some lines into the correct order for the program to work. You can still need some items to see the full lines but yeah... something a lit less generic for the arena :) Good game so far i will give you a whopping 4/5 since you are so active on it. hope to see more updates ;)
nothing like trying to destroy earth using stars in an arcanoid-fashion.
I should have way too much mass to pull the stars back to the bottom though the earth is not afected... the implications of this game are amusing :3... back to all seriousness: screen is way too wide... fix the resolution of your game. since not all of us have giant monitors ;)
Uhmm... looks like a good game... all the features are here... but they dont seem to add that much fun... i think what the game may need is a bit more of love.... for example: every interface looks diferent. Too many clicks for each action. the tutorial is even more anoying because of that, Dont start by showing the full chart of weapons (which are not unlocked) visible, is way better to keep it simpler for the player and add brand new flashy weapons as they progress. I still think that a bit of tweaking would make this game quite fun. But not sure that you may want to edit it further...
Well so far so good, but i have to say this: at "Crumbling Ruins" you are forced to use the same deck as your opponent. not only is that deck quite random but it relays on you making more damage than your opponent which is almost imposible with the massive handicap -25hp you allready have. The game itself looks good but this mission is plain boring and anoying depending complety on luck with odds strongly against you. Thats a good way to make players ragequit before getting into the game.
This game... is just ... spechless D:... great music, great game play... very challenging and very rewarding. i cant believe this was here for so long without me knowing... Why is there no more run/puzles games usign this approach? Solid 5/5 from me!. The only thing that i maaaaay ask for is for more solid blocks to walk you know instead 2d squares someting a little bit thicker just to please the eye nothing more. and if you go for Run2 then... *looking at devs profile* ... :') thank you! *going to play run2*
Its a very lovely game. Quick and enjoyable. Spaming mouse click is a real issue here but its also very easy to solve. I suggest a quick change: make the guy follow the mouse every 0.5 secs (like auto-click). You can also implement an auto-pause each time the mouse is out of the screen and a 3sec countdown to auto-resume when its back. Do all that and you will get a more awesome game with tons of fans asking for more skills and stuff (as it sould be! :P) cheers
After 15Km on survival: i dont know whats going on anymore TwT... Well the game is quite fun and all those shiny upgrades :3. The only complain is the jetpack quests... i know you put a lot of effort in the jetpack mechanic and its pretty cool... but there are not enough stages for it to be really usefull... and the fact that the game forced me to use it in order to get better weapons was a bit annoying... Btw anyone else had his/her sight blured a bit after playing this game?
Evidentemente no es un juego completo, pero es un comienzo. inciar el juego en mute es una buena decicion, los graficos y la musica me han gustado. Pero sobre todo la capacidad de jugar entre 2 amigos y su simplicidad es lo que puede hacer brillar este juego. Les suguiero revisar la sincronizacion de los sprites y agregar mas personajes. Tal vez una breve descripcion de quien es cada personaje y porque pelea. Luego pueden considerar agregar varios "Stages" con musicas diferentes. 2/5 es lo justo por ahora pero pueden mejorar bastante... Animos! :)
Si despues voy a ver si hago la segunda parte , ahora quiero empezar a hacer la segunda parte del Jerk and the octopus , es dificil hacer un juego de peleas en la plataforma Stencyl , gracias por comentar tomare en cuenta tu critica :)
... heh... i dont have enough OCD to get that last 4000 exp ^^U, but still a great game and one i enjoyed to play twice. Happy to see you are begin paid for your great work. Would love to see more greenish games around :3. That begin said, we can only hope Game Ark will follow the good example of more modest game sites.
This is just my perception but: it seems that the blobs are cutting their bonds that keep em fixed in place in order to keep going and stay with each other. some times the gal has to wait for the guy to finish his "work" while others she has to cut some bonds of her own... all in all look quite similar to real life, if only methaphorical. Thank you for this lovely game.
ok... i will try to be objective here, Music: 7/10, Graphics: 7/10, Challenge: 5/10, Replayability 3/10, Levels design: 6/10, no archivements, upgrades, or speed button. Fun factor: 10/10. and at the end of the day the only thing that really matters :3 GJ
This game is great, balanced and fun. my only complain is that I keep constantly losing control of my character... my computer is not that old so i am guessing is just a bug in the key handles. While it completly destroy the experience i can see that the games is quite good and the bug should be easy to fix. 3/5 until fixed which hopefully wont take long.
