i would love to see idle actions while working, for example: sometimes while mining he could arche its back. when woodcuting he could go for a meal, and so on :3 even if for a brief moment. other options is for the background to have some changes that break the monotony like a squirell pops up or bird picking worms. PD: i know is still way in alfa but you may want to consider these while you develop :D i am giving right away 4/5 and fav :3
I am having so much fun! XD, but could use some more detailed logs, Its very hard to tell if you are barely making it or overkilling em. how many turns the battle lasted would help a bit. Anyway... what this game really needs is to remember your battle settings, is quite anoying to pick em again one by one on each quest... just changing that will be a HUGE improvement. If that is imposible, then make it so double click will add em to the party.
i have to say that i really enjoyed this game and will give 5/5 but it will be so much better with these little tweeks.
Uhm... ok... this "game" i way far from done, but i really like the concept. 1) fix the few bugs you have 2) add some instructions and a goal. 3) add a few more enemies: brute (HP+), Horse(Speed+), thief (hard to see). 3) add more units (Knight?, Archer?) and give em some animations (worker mining or taking spoils from the battelfield, mage channeling mana, and so on)
meh... just another game from thegames8. @kimsuraq: this game tries to keep a certain number of troops inside each base: 5 at first, then 35 after you fully upgrade it.
i love this game, a lot of variety and quite fun. but the user interface could use some improvements. 1) Changing from mouse to keyboard all the time is a bit annoying. Make it so the player can do all actions with keyboard or mouse alone. 2) Managing your troops its a pain. An auto-equip button would be very appreciated, even a "next troop" button will suffice. 3) With so many skills and buffs we want detailed information about each one, i know there is a guide but the game would improve a lot if you could hover over an aspect of the game and it popup some information about it, as little as 5 words may make a big diference. I am sorry that i only talk about improves. This game allready have a lot of features and because i like it so much i am making these suggestions. I hope some of them can be usefull to you.
*looks at date* whoa... i am impressed. if you compare with new games its not big deal but you tried to make an FPS in flash. And you probably failed but still you managed to kinda save it. all taken into account 7/10
this game is amazing. it is full of bugs and still i had so much fun. suggestions: 1)sort the parts in the "shop" first on type then cost. 2) allow player to select the order/priority of parts displayed in the factory. 3) add a queue for each factory (or a factory menu in the gui). 4) all-tanks orders. 5) retreat command. 6) Sandbox/Map editor. 7) Fixing the physics
For me it's more fun to explore a story than be told a story, so I left it a bit ambiguous. Sorry it didn't ring true with you but I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the game.
Great game, you get the arcade feel of endless hard games. i wonder if this will end as a minigame of something else. Suggestions in case you want to continue it: 1) how about a story that you can read while you play? 2) some kind of presentation or animation that tells you the game is loaded? 3)Upgrades to fight the ducks (they can be automatic and related to your score) doubleshot, higher jump, rechargable shield, bombs... 4) more levels, maybe linked with some doors (ending with an adventure game)
Thank you for the suggestions! Making it an action adventure is what popped into my mind first as well. It seems to have that atmosphere to me. Right now I'm working on something else, but I do want to get back to this some day.
Well since you were so polite, here, this may help you: "http://www.kongregate.com/labs" it will be quite interesting using your theme in a shot em up... something like "meme wars" or "nyan vs trolls"? actually sounds cool. i also suggest you play more games on kongregate and remember: make games you will enjoy playing :) *cheers*
2nd level is quite hard. if compared to first one. it needs some kind of tutorial levels and sounds badly. all taken into account 2/5 until you make some improvements.
These things are all planned, though not down to these specific details. :)
