Great game, lovely music, aparently the logo was reduced because it didnt bother me that much. Still i think that just having it in the main menu and/or the loading screen should be enough. Or you can just make it unclickeable while in-game... Anyway i didnt had the time to test everything but the mechanics feels pretty nice, i would love to see more detailed info about skill-tree or some way to reset stats/skills (maybe paying 100*Lv Gold) Take into account that players will play at most 1 time per diferent character. so far 9/10
ok i played it again after the changes. its simplicity feels quite nice!. Somehow i failed to note the "Upgrade button" in my previous attempt, not sure why, but because of that i under-rated it quite a bunch, my apologizes, so... taking all into account and your fast anwser and update, i feel happy to change my rate into a solid 4/5.
i liked the animated help. but the game itself is quite boring... even for 48h the asteroids are harder to evade that they should be, and the distance to travel is way to long for such a simple game. Also fish carry over to the next game which i think may be a bug. Maybe you should spend less time in deep perception/details and a bit more in shoots/gameplay. but thats just my opinion... overall: good try
Thanks.
I have modified the controls(now you have to use mouse instead of keyboard) and now the "miles" counter is running slightly faster.
Also, carrying fish to the next level is not a bug, I left it in case if anyone wants to buy upgrade for specified number of fish(you don't have to go to the shop to check if you have enough fish to buy something)
uhm... are you sure this wont cause epilepsy seisures or eye/brain damage? i am not sure if i should flag this game... but i wont play a game like this. good luck.
Its better to keep this version even if only for reference. you can either keep on updating it or flag it as "finished" then go for "Skill Idle 2" In my personal opinion i would keep on updating even if its takes time. We players are normaly patient about that, and enjoy dev comebacks quite a lot. Is there any reason why you need to remove the game while you work on it?
... all your games... have the exactly same problems... do they go through actual human testing before release? do you use players on kongregate as testing monkeys?, do you actually use all the feedback that we give to you? why do you keep repeating the same problems then? the worst is... these games could be actually pretty fun. but they are allways laking proper controls and they are all full of bugs
You probably have all this planned but: since you are going to add a continental traveling system, i am guessing each continent will have diferent harvesting points but also diferent "shops" to sell harvested stuff. if thats so. you probably are allready thinking about "Trading Skill" which makes even more sense if you are going to add crafting (with the corresponding crafting skill, or maybe related to the build skill) i am so excited to see how are you going to pull all this together :3
Why we cant upgrade or move the placement of the elevator? i would prefer to have elevator at 2nd column instead of the center. Rat is fun at first but you dont feel any progress... maybe let us buy rat repelent that make rats slower, bigger or less frecuent, or make it so the janitor can go for the rat (similar fashion to lost kids), the key shortcuts are wrong, you will rarely (never) use them to toggle the drag cursor and you will mostly use em to toggle the "rat tool". In my humble opinion: the rat itself can stay but remove the rat tool and make it so you only have to click it to send the janitor/kill it. there is a lot of stuff i wanted to comment but first fix the rat. 7/10 so far...
its a good message but you cant deliver it with a game like this. if you still want to make it educative you could use a autocritic dialogue through multiple levels (like cellcraft) or you can stick to the game mecanic and work a little to make it quite fun. it has potential on both sides.
uhm found a bug... at the "fist fight" in the second town you can push your opponent to the wall then if you deliver 1 blow he will fall offscreen. This will force you to restart the browser and you will be unable to complete that "quest" unless you delete the save.
... well... its "a game" a plataformer as generic as it can come... and very incomplete. A suggestion for the developer: Try to progress all aspect of your game together. if you finished the physics but have no levels to play, dont go adding music yet. first polish the gameplay (at least enough to be fun). then you can add stuff like music, or scoreboard and shiny things. Also, milimalist games (low/simple graphics) should have superb mechanics, and this one has poor mechanics at best.
aparently there is a max population so even if your castles are not full you may have your troops in towers. even if its fast-paced this game could be good if the controls were more automatic. but having to do all by yourself with no pause is not fun. at the very least make it so you can issue orders while in pause. or add some proper controls like key shortcuts for select all. i really like defense games of this kind but as it is i cant give more than 2/5
OH i see, thank you. as a suggestion, you may consider to add the option menu to the main menu. is a little contra-intuitive to only be able to acess the menu while playing.
