Well, that last level is a bit tricky, but it's....worth it I suppose? The story is pretty weird, to say the least. Definitely a creative, though the gameplay is a bit overdone. This time-traveling thing has been done plenty of times in the past.
That last challenge is tough. There's quite a few zombies, and with the smog level STARTING at 750, they're going to be pretty big. Hard to believe more than 10,000 people beat that one.
Good concept, but there's a couple of glitches. Sometimes I get stuck behind a lever that I activated. Sometimes the door doesn't open. And of course, lag is a big issue. The timer seems to go at a normal rate, regardless of lag, so I'm never going to get an A or an S (if they exist.)
Boring game. I found myself just repeatedly clicking the same button, and occasionally looking back to see if I'm done, WAY too often. I suppose there is a bit of strategy in it and all, but I just think the battling parts are too simple. You're either stronger than the enemy, or you aren't. There's no choices to be made in combat. Attack or use magic. If you're not a ranger (which you shouldn't be. They suck.) your choice is made for you. There' no option to run away either. It seems like the focus was more on the sim elements, but that just made the battle parts very tedious.
Tip: start at level 1 (or 2, since 1 doesn't help much) and waste a lot of time. Upgrade everything to max as soon as possible. It'll make life less horrible in the late levels.
You know what I think is going to be the hardest? Using a magnet and pulling in no money. There is a LOT of money strewn about the tower. trying to find a spot where there's none is very tough, even if you try and clear some out yourself.
Protip; See those areas that are almost perfect squares, but with some boxes at the corners, making little holes to hide in? USE THEM. They will be a huge asset in later levels.
Why do the buccaneers keep attacking me? I'm one of them now! Just because I got all the way up to Guildmaster of the Enforcers.....I think I just answered my own question. :D
Pretty fun, though I gotta say, upgrading speed and size isn't necessarily a good thing. Going too fast can be bad, and getting too big can REALLY be bad. It isn't really "better" to use more points. In fact, there's probably some people who hit 3 speed and 1 size and say "okay. I'm all set. Now I just need to upgrade my special." By the way, what's the difference between the black and orange specials? They just seem to plow through things. No real difference, except the looks.
By the way, ph3music, the difficulty goes up past that. I've seen 105%. Though you are right; it is an easy game. If you want a challenge, pick a race, then use the wrong weapon. Example: Use the Undead with mostly ranged weapons and spears.
