I really appreciate that there are actually almost 70 hidden places. I was not looking forward to rambling 4x in each zone to find the last one. However, now I have to do that for cisterns and ATMs... It would be really nice to have an icon appear on the map after a controlling a zone that indicates a cistern or ATM still exists there.
Increase the growth rate, add incentives for earning in-game achievements, and give the "story" some kind of conclusion, and you might earn yourselves some tip Kreds. Selling premium content as the only alternative to hours of grinding does unspeakable things to your reputation. Also, the sprite auto-piloting to the top corner when the mouse dips off-screen: awful. The graphics are really pretty, and the music is great, but that's about all it's got going for it...
Finish the last level and... nothing. The same completion trophy bonus as every other level, and not even a "conglaturation!"... I just hope this is because you guys are still in the process of adding more content?
Probably could have used quite a bit of help with the dialogue, but a very well made game nonetheless. The power creep between player and enemy is very consistent.
@Mammle: Nearly every modifier for all damage your characters deal and receive incorporates your level directly. So, though your "stats" don't increase upon level up, you will deal more damage and take less, just by being higher level. For specifics, look at the "Skills" section of the Fighunter Wiki to see how your level affects certain moves. Also, boss fights are hard on purpose. You need to know what they're capable of, and set up your gear and skills against each boss. If you want help, search each boss on the wiki too.
@love1309: It is. Unfortunately, after the 4th time you cross the Warport, you'll not be able to encounter it, so you have to take it on relatively early. It takes a lot of preparation. On the Fighunter wiki, you can find all kinds of useful information about it.
2 toggles that would be nice to add to the corner (they don't have to be very big): Quality (yes, some of our computers are actually that bad); and Fast Lock (which would essentially turn the Fast button, which works like Shift, into working like Caps Lock, as it did in Cursed Treasure 1).
Rather than slowing down the frame rate, lag is simply skipping frames entirely, as such, even at low quality, as soon as I bought the car I can no longer even play the game at all.
So, in order to fire his Flamethrower, Meraeador can't be silenced... I'm assuming that means he's screaming wildly as he uses it. So, is it voice-activated, or are his screams its fuel source?
Or, if you want the full experience, DON'T copy decks from the forum. Look through the Bazaar and build your own. If you want to try out a combo without spending anything, use elementsthegame.com/trainer to build it and test it for free.
Protip: If you're only playing this game for the Medium badge, check out the forum! It's got long lists of cheap, easy decks you can use to get to 150 score with 95% less frustration. Then, slap dat weapon you pick up at the end of Quest 7 into another deck you found on the forum, and watch the AI3s and AI4s suffer.
Interesting idea, done very well. 5/5 for originality. Is gold kept upon leaving? It doesn't say it is in the Instructions... and if it is I've been wasting a ton of it by warping without selling first... Also anyone else think the shopkeep ought to occasionally sell a piece of Artifact gear? It'd be ludicrously expensive, of course, but still.
To be honest, I think the only thing bringing this game down (apart from Oksana's personality) is the miss rate function. My face is inches from a stationary turret and I have a 15% chance to miss trying to stab it? Things like Dart Cleaver and various buffs really ought to just reduce damage, or offer counter-attacks, rather than dodge rates. What would be best would be to put all the focus on strategy, rather than luck. That aside, I really enjoyed it.
