Also, there appears to be a glitch with the cookies (might just be me), but whenever I clear a level, then close the window, then later reload the game, I have to re-clear the exact same level. This is frustrating in that I have been busy, and had to do the Trapped level 5 times.
That moment when your teamate hits you with splash from the rocket launcher and it costs you the match. Or when enemies/ teamates spawn just as you shoot a rocket. Etc.
The controls. Suck! Very little actual control, they go back to their horrible ai as soon as you release, and, for the love of pete, they wander around like lost 4 year olds! One just wandered off in the middle of a fight, moving into a corner and doign nothing while it and my other bot were just destroyed, and had just been about to win! The only reason I'm playing this is for the badge of the day. Disgraceful. There have been many games like this, most, if not all, much better.
That's cruel kongregate, throwing a badge of the day as completing a bullet hell game. At least the lasers make it hilariously easy, aside from a few instances.
Evony with pirates, lovely... P2W, frequent screen spams to spam your FB friends and the like, very laggy (for me anyways), no noob protection at all, etc.
Not bad, but it lacks originality (tons of these out there), has no interest for any non-serious players (largely due to new ones and people who won't be playing every single day, frequently, due to no noob protection or explanation), and the optimization is not the best.
This is a great game. Nice graphics (reminds me of Star Fox, but cleaner), good controls. Only problem being A. the difficulty. I put it on challenging and set it to 4 enemies and 50 kill max(for the achiement) on the first go and beat it without a sweat. Perhaps I should have tried a harder difficulty or added the íncreasing difficulty option, but still. As for possible additions to this in the future, I agree with the rest of them. Add a story mode, a multiplayer, maybe some more badges. maybe an upgrade system to help with an increasing difficulty in the story mode.
FInally, this is optimized great, didn't see much lag, and it runs WITHOUT THAT BLOODY UNITY. *sigh*, sorry, I have a chromebook so I can't exactly install the thing.
Keep up the good work.
Now for an actual game comment(refer to my previous one for those in confusion). It's a great game, much like those that many played on sites like gamefudge where you controlled cells taking over other cells. Except this, sadly, was less strategic, more zerg rush and grab everything you can. Graphics are minimal, but not horrible, gameplay is decent, aside from the controls. The double clicking to breed is fine, but not if I have to do it for my life to handle the bosses, and the 'eggs' keep piling up over who I'm breeding. In addition, the click and drag is irritating due to limited space, the bugs sometimes catching on edges, and good luck if you're on a now very common thing called a laptop and have to use a mouse pad. The first few bosses where interesting, but the last ones were a test in patience and button mashing where you zerg rushed by madly breeding.
Normal boss battles, sure, okay. Enemy zerg rushes, a bit challenging and strategic. Duel super upgraded bosses? Zerg rush like hell, breed like hell, and hope they mutate on there own to become resistant enough so you can send a few off to collect a few to add to the already quickly diminishing panels you have so you can keep it up. Took me 10 bloody minutes to beat the first duel boss, 15 on the last boss.
Discovered a rather amusing glitch. While riding a Hadrosaurid, just as my guy was about to jump off, a meteor hit it and, while my guy was knocked back, it flew straight into the air. Later fell down near the end of the level just as the doom rolled in.
Great inversion of a TD game, reminds me of the 'Overlord' series (evil pikmin). Decent music, beautiful and hilarious upgrade system, with even funnier stage names and quotes. Good job.
Ugly American is a bit much, especially due to most geography classes not teaching every single country, let alone various cities within them. Nice little trivia-ish game, worth aiming for at least level 5. Not so much the hard badge though.
A delightful twist on tower defence that focused more on strategy and had a rather interesting concept. Why we couldn't use the plants from plants vs zombies or use kinetic bombardment, I don't know, but it's still a novel concept. While a bit hard to strategize for new players, it's easy to get into and you should be able to rack up points for upgrades soon enough.
Good game.
Interesting game, reminds me of Okami. It's a bit on the short side, and the risk-based games drags it down. And due to the treasures, most will aim for the dodge, but there aren't nearly enough to bring your hit points to a decent rate if you do that. Also, the final boss is a case of fake difficulty, either not jumping or jumping off screen.
Hit 10 times in a row with 70% accuracy, but missed 10 times in a row with 99% accuracy.. clearly there's a problem with the accuracy. Otherwise, it's a nice little rpg. I only wish there was incentive for collecting the in-game medals.
