Those cactus brutes are downright evil. They're placed almost as bad as enemies in Ninja Gaiden, throwing you into pits or spikes, but they can also get into an infinite loop of throwing you against a wall. Unless you throw a well-placed bomb...
Question, I'm supposed to get one of those little blue gems every time you get an in-game achievment, right? I did not get any. Just a small glitch, dunno if it's affecting anyone else.
Too short, not enough food, to small an area, you lose no matter what, upgrades are minimum and you can't get all upgrades, etc. Especially irritating is the fact that even if you kill everything, they still spawn. Perhaps they spawn in the upper right area that you came from? Sure...but you can't get back up there. Interesting concept, poor implementation.
I'll just leave this here; while there are 7 shots to get the badge of the day for the little animal thing, it's not fair to put a badge of the day on a game that requires Unity engine. There's a fair amount of people that can't install the unity engine on their com for one reason or another, me included.
It's a fun game, and a bit challenging at the end, but it needs a bit of a tutorial for those that don't read the instructions (most of us who are used to tutorials), some control for the timing rather than actually timing it, as well as some creative control. Namely, creating the levels so that they sound like music instead of noise.
New MMO; Papa's Freezeria. Players work online to each serve waves of customers, each having a particular choice in food type in addition to how it's prepared.
I question why we need another one of these...
anyways, the first issue is a rather serious glitch; the mouse cursor completely disappears upon entering the game area.
As for the game itself, it's not a very good on a mainly kids game site to start the game off with the underage, ah, 'character' dressed only in undergarments. Second, while clever, the constantly repeating few verses of 'Für Elise' grows grating very quickly. Finally, when you select cake decorations, they overlay and often ruin other designs.
Doesn't look to horrible. Aside from being a plants vs zombies ripoff, it's an interesting re-skinning. However, the music is repetitive (although not bad at first) and the sound effects are extremely annoying.
I didn't play to far into it, although it appears to be lacking much of a story. Another, smaller fault is that when you mute the game, some of the sound effects are left on. Namely, that of the enemies hitting, and that of picking up coins.
The American Joe Racer readied himself in his customized car. He had won every single race with it; the perfect car. He put on a clown suit and slapped on the stamp. He was angered at his sponsors for this, but eh, the gig payed good. He prepped himself, and rode. He weeved and turned, boosting and racing. Sadly, not a single pie was hit that day, no matter how much he tried. Each movement to hit an additional pie only resulted in no pies hit. Struck by this disastrous outcome, he decided to attempt a car-based slalom course...
fun game of this type of game, great music, plot isn't too bad, but the in game dictionary...there are plenty of words it won't accept, and anyone who has english as a second language is toast.
Many issues…
Sometimes enemies get stuck by tentacle. Indestructible, irremovable. If they're shooters, they keep shooting, even during the transitions. The game gets laggy quickly. When you press up it makes the jump sound. It still does then when you're flying. When you turn the laser plants into sheep, it keeps firing.
Immersion problems. It's not too bad, as bad as any other game of this nature. However, final boss is inexcusable. Do EVERY mission in order to even FIGHT this thing without being instakilled!?
Each monster is unique and interesting, and the graphics and music are OK. But iin the third area, projectiles, enemies, and powerups all blend into an indiscernible mess.
Smaller issues: Can’t create own controls. Both that are given are ok, but some might complain. The dudes and the books MUST be bought in ORDER. A tiny bit irritating. Some of the missions are a bit misleading, namely the coin collection.
Not bad, but needs work. 3 stars.
