Minor/Major glitch (depending), occasionally an enemy gets stuck back by the tentacle holding your gf. It's fine if it's one of those bouncing crab...things, but if it's one of those tiny shooters from the second area, then you're screwed. Especially so due to being frozen between boss areas, as it doesn't go away, and it keeps shooting. I was at full health (3, due to not upgrading yet), and the little bugger killed me off before I even layed eyes on the boss...during the transfer.
Gee, it'd be great if the carriage didn't run straight into the growing horde of enemies that spawn at the line it needs to reach...let alone the insane matter of clearing the infinitely spawning enemies.
This game would rank higher if the achievements for passing a country weren't so tight and the laughably easy mistake of throwing your plane backwords crashes the game.
While a well running game with an excellent upgrade, micro-management, and achievement system, there are a few issues. First there aren't enough bosses. For most players, they show up a few times and then they're gone unless they're careless to let an area slip. Those that show up are either insanely hard (Shotgun boss) or pushovers due to being simply able to outrun/stun them. On the flip side are the normal enemies. The gun and dog enemies are simply too much in groups, the gun enemies too much on their own to a player without enough upgrades! Finally, the story, while interesting, with bit of diary segments now and again (Which sometimes repeats, which also retracts), is a bit on the skimpy side. The bad weighing with the good, this game gets 3 stars, but a firm spot on my favorite list, and soon, my 100% list.
Clearly, two things need to be done when the zombie appocolapse starts; move all civilians inwards, give ALL GUNS TO THE MILITARY SO ZOMBIES CAN'T USE THEM, and kill all of those f*****g dogs!
Three questions; how does the resident badass who gains all skills, but leaves at 18 go COMPLETELY unknown, why can't he walk a few steps to grab the valuable treasure but can run out of a dungeon without gaining 'stress', and where are the left handed weapons!?
Ah, a few things I forgot and a few new things upon reloading the game;
First, the screen shake is too much. Heavily reduces visibility and gets you killed. Second, YOU NEED TO ADD AN AUTOFIRE! Either due to design(if so, remove this!) or a glitch, but holding down makes your curser disappear when you're not in the shop (As in, shooting enemies), making it rather hard to aim due to cursor often going offscreen (resulting in not being able to aim). It's also a pain to hold down a button all game to fire. I had to result to the glitch of holding down and letting go offscreen so it would autofire.
As for rebooting, if you continue, it starts you right..where...you were...when you quit the game. Gah! *death* Also, before I died, the pattern of shooting had changed to a weird diagonal form instead of the normal 4-way spread. Finally, it has a high chance of freezing either after rebooting and when it saves, or when it saves after lvl 8.
Also, the last is bloody impossible without being perfect and having a decent mouse, especially due to the RNG. I had to just run it with all greenlit until I won.
ALso, what freaking moron sees FOUR semis and a bus going across a long road with no stop light for a mile and thinks, "Gee, I'm going two hundred and I'll cause an accident if I stop, even though I'm far out of their sight...nah, I'll just keep going, I'm sure they'll move out of the way in time." And barrels foward into them!??!?!?
