You are absolutely right about irritating sounds! Yet, you played through the game, so thank you :) I made it short so people could finish it before their ears bleed :P
Most people are right-handed. So why are the precision controls (character movement) on the left hand and the controls that require almost no co-ordination (the protein thing) on the right hand?
Seems to be a bug in the challenge. I got to level 50 on medium but didn't get the challenge. Surely, I shouldn't be penalized for doing something more difficult than requested?
This is an interesting idea but there's not enough here to hold me. It feels like I've been playing for ever and ever and I just want to get the badge and be done with this thing, now. :-( A progress meter is essential and it might also help to break the game up into levels so the player feels they're progressing. I like games that are based on simple ideas but I think this game needs a couple more of them.
I'm sorry, but these games are terrible. If you take something that is fundamentally not fun and make a game of it, guess what? The game is also fundamentally not fun. And that's the exact opposite of what a game should be. If I wanted the mind-numbing tedium of working in a fast food joint, I'd work in a fast food joint, damnit. And, you know what? They'd frickin' PAY ME to do that.
@graeshark: No: first, spelling is orthography, not grammar; second, "defence" is a perfectly acceptable spelling and is the preferred spelling in British English
Seriously? 2,000 tanks for the *easy* badge? I mean, I realise that it's easy but I've been playing for well over half an hour and I'm only up to 1,300. That's way too time-consuming for an easy badge.
Damnit, the word is "missile". With two i's. And would you please stop expecting me to read messages in the bottom left corner of the screen while I'm trying to play the game?
OK, so it's fun shooting stuff for a bit but this all feels rather aimless. In levels where you're supposed to hit a specific kind of bug, there's no penalty for hitting the wrong kind. The score and the timer seem to be irrelevant and there seems to be no way of losing a level. So, in the end, it's just about getting the achievements. But all the achievements are "shoot a bunch of stuff". There's so little variation that the game just gets boring.
@michalius: Yes but then you have to dial in a different correction every time the enemy bounces off a wall or you kill it and the auto-aimer selects a new target that's flying in a different direction. That completely defeats the point of auto-aiming: continually adjusting to correct for the broken auto-aimer is less intuitive and more difficult than just manually aiming. The reason the controls here are unique is that every other game uses the infinitely better system of cursors to move, mouse to aim.
Well, I hope these "unique controls" stay unique because they're terrible. If you're going to have a weapon that auto-targets, it could at least know to aim ahead of a moving target so it actually hits!
Damnit, it's so annoying when you're given a quest to kill somebody you already killed. That's happened with both Evil McBadguy and the King Crab, so far. Sure, I can kill them again but can't the game remember I already did it once?
