So, basically, you have to hold the mouse button down for the entire game. Sorry, but that hurts my wrist. Also, level two where you make the two identical skyscrapers collapse by hailing on them, is in supremely bad taste.

"If the game is lagging for you right click the screen, go to settings, and switch the storage amount to unlimited." I think you mean, "If the game hits your web browser so hard that, after right-clicking it takes three minutes for the menu to appear and, after another three minutes the settings dialog still hasn't appeared, just kill the game and do something else." That's not lag: it's a catastrophic failure.

@joebob73: Yes, the church causes suicides eventually but it increases happiness and, after you've played a few times, you'll be able to win the game before the suicides start.

So, basically, it's a rip-off of Canabalt except that it's missing the two things that make Canabalt a great game. First, there's no way to slow down so the game eventually ends just because you're going too fast to control; second, jump goes to a fixed height, instead of being able to tap for a small jump and hold for a longer one.

There's something of a glitch in the difficulty curve. I can get the three-star score on levels 1, 3 and 4 eight or nine times out of every ten games, with minimal assistance from wildcards and the club bag. But I can only get three stars once or twice in ten games on level 2, which seems to need much more luck than the other three-hole courses.

@sommerzeit: The caught in the wind badge most certainly *does* work if you've skipped levels. I just got it for completing level 25, despite having skipped 20-24.

I love the idea of this game, with the different characters and their different abilities. But I really hate the lack of a checkpointing system. One tiny mistake means you have to go right back to the start of the level. Also, a quality option would help a lot: the controls feel rather "heavy" on my 4-year-old laptop.

Scores needed for three stars: four under par for all the three-hole courses (1-4 and 6); ten under par for 5 and 7; twelve under for 8; six under for 9.

It needs a "back to menu" button from the scorecard. If you hit five over par on the first hole of one of the later levels, there's no way you're going to get three stars but, right now, the only option is to reload.

I'm tired of units deciding to go do their own stuff instead of obeying orders. "Oh, I'm just passing by a sleeping ogre. I think I'll attack him on my own, even though I can't win that fight without backup and the boss told me to go for that fortress." "Oh, I was defending my town but, now that I've come out of the walls and defeated the invaders, I may as well walk over to the next town and attack it on my own. Even though I'm a frickin' archer so I'm useless in melee combat." If I die because my strategy was wrong, I'll try again. If I die because the game doesn't do what I tell it to do, I'll go play something else.

Far too many annoyances. The greatest one for me at the moment is levels where you start with the ability to build only one unit, which isn't enough to actually do anything. So you build you unit, build a farm so you can have a second unit, and then you just have to sit and sit and sit (even on fast forward) until you have enough gold to afford a second unit. That seems very badly balanced.

Meh. I'd played this through and been very close to winning, before. But I figured I was missing a huge amount of stuff, since there were two items in my inventory I'd not used, at least three things in the world that could be interacted with but I'd not worked out how to use and at least one apparent room I'd not managed to get into. Finally I looked at the walkthrough and it turned out that all six of these things were red herrings. I think that's really bad style. Everything in an adventure game should have a purpose. Otherwise, when the player dies, he thinks, "Oh, I must have gone to that place too early, before I'd found the object that would have protected me or something like that." And then, it turns out that I just died because I didn't do the right thing to win in the last room. Meh.

I think this game is wasting my time. First, I see in the comments that, if I don't pick up ten sprite droppings right at the start, I can't win the badge. Second, I find myself fighting a monster with no kind of progress bar to tell me if I'm doing the right thing -- do I need to hit it more, have I hit it at all yet, what's going on? Third, I find there's no save game so you have to win in one sitting. I'm annoyed that a game with such glaring defects got badges, let alone got into a quest.

Also, what's the point of the hit bonus. A dollar per hit is a total waste of time when the cheapest upgrade costs $110. By the time you've hit 110 cars, you've upgraded so much that the cheapest is now over a thousand. So the hit bonus will never let you buy anything new.

There's so much to like about this game. It loads super-fast, gameplay is fast and responsive even on my 4yo laptop, there's a good variety of tracks, the music can be turned off while keeping the sound, and the draft/boost system is really well designed. But, overall, it just doesn't work. Once you've upgraded your car a decent amount, winning every race with a lap or two to spare is a cinch. But, at the same time, the object-collecting tracks get harder and harder as as you upgrade because your car goes faster but doesn't handle any better. What are the brakes for? Make the races more challenging and the object collectors easier (or lose them altogether) and this will be a really great game.

Sorry, but this is terrible. I apparently need a divine edge to beat a dragon so I bought one of those. And then I bought an elixir so I could restore my hitpoints in battle and it replaced the divine edge! WTF? I can carry a regular sword and a potion but not a fancy sword and a potion? So the only way to win is to be lucky enough to get a divine edge late enough that you meet a dragon before you die from combat wounds. No thanks.

Mouse control... why? Cursors would make much more sense so the player isn't clicking all over the place just to move. And you know, that way, people with laptops could play, too.

Looks like everyone else loves this but I think it's awful. The aiming system is terrible: essentially, you have a rear-firing gun only, since the gun fires at where you used to be, rather than where you're going to be. As far as I can see, the only way to shoot stuff is to try to get it to turn around and then hold the mouse button to strafe (welcome to wrist strain). But don't try to alter your strafe angle too often or you'll accidentally double click, which does something else. Ugh.

Although I don't much like the game, the fast loading is awesome. If more games on Kong loaded that fast, I'd be a seriously happy bunny.
