Quick tip: to get lots of easy kills, combine the lightning storm and the flood/tsunami/whatever it's called. The giant wave covers the entire field in water and the lightning storm electrifies the water. Level up the lightning enough and you can keep it going constantly.
Good game. People need to quit whining about the graphics. Only thing that bugs me: the vampire bite doesn't actually do damage and it really should. Other than that, really good. Solid 4 out of 5 in my book.
I really like it. Especially the part where you can get that toxic mist and feed off of your enemies at night! I just don't get the criticism where people claim it's related to pandemic? They're completely different games!
By "specials," do you mean special attacks (which you get by upgrading your castle and tower) or special units (which you get by unlocking achievements)? Special attacks come from upgrading your castle and are meteor storm (deals a relatively small amount of damage to a large number of random enemy units), holy swords (same deal, only with knockback) and summon titan (haven't gotten it yet). Upgrading your tower all the way also gets you "super arrows" and a special rapid fire move.
It's all right... I'm not a huge fan of the limited units idea. Also, it's kind of annoying that you have to keep switching back and forth... infantry, pick an infantry, artillery, pick an artillery, infantry, pick an infantry again, back to artillery... I really like the idea of conquering the world (evil grin) but I spent so much time looking at the unit menu that I didn't get to watch any of the action!
You can kill void eaters while they're using the beam, I just don't recommend it because you might hit the beam and die. Oh yea, and keep the guide alive! http://www.freewebs.com/bubblemasta
Killing a void eater isn't that hard. Just wait to see how it attacks (and try not to be killed while waiting). If it starts charging, run towards it at an angle (i.e. not in a straight line) and try to whack it before it attacks. If it attacks, just move away from the beam as fast as you [blank]ing can. If it tries to draw you in, just keep as far away from it as possible until it stops. Honestly though, it's best to just whack them while they're forming. Grenades also help. Grenades help a lot.
Three questions: 1, why are you so worried people will think this is a boxhead clone? 2, why are the zombies so [bleep]ing fast? 3, why do the zombies look like bugs?
The story was kind of unnecessary. I just wanted to see my creation, not listen to his life's story. That said, whoever came up with "crotch" for the body part, genius!
Kind of a funny strategy (best in the early levels). As the Orcs, upgrade so you have a totem and build up to around 800 mana or so. Make one totem and then immediately begin making as many goblins as you can, as fast as you can. Three squires can hold off goblins until the cows come home but as soon as the totem gets in range... BAM! Then the enemies are stunned and the goblins club them to death and move on to the next guy.
