@strycat: When your battery runs out, you keep moving for a short time as your speed drops to 0. You have to collect the energy bonus in that short window between when your battery runs out and when you stop moving.
@Balbanes: That's why I always build my initial towers near the gems, and work my way outwards (more or less). That gives them a chance to get some experience before later, closer to the start, towers start keeping their targets away.
&Hertzyscowicz: It seems to simply be a (very) small chance for the mushroom to drop a painting when fed a clover. So, just get more clovers and pray for good luck. (And, they're not necessary to beat the game; just gives a slight increase to your per-minute income.)
Ran out of text. Anyway, TL:DR - When you have a tier 6 ship (13 Gun Points) and 1000+ HP (), the Final Boss will show up in the next field you enter. DO NOT LEAVE THE BUBBLE FIELD after finding the boss.
[TL:DR- Tier 6 ship with 13 Gun Points, 1000+ HP (ve found him, DO NOT LEAVE THE BUBBLE. The first two times I defeated him, it was after having left the bubble (first time intentionally to edit my ship, second time accidentally) and coming back, and I did not get the badge. The third time, I made sure not to leave the bubble; when I killed him and cleared out the enemies he had spawned, I got the badge.
@Darky: Because hacking at someone with an axe (even if they're wasted drunk) isn't merciful; the game warns you it'll be messy and may take some blows. A quick unaware death is much more merciful.
@Deekfrog: You don't *have* to play this to get your shiny Kongpanion. You only need to get 5 of the 7 badges in a week for the shiny, so if you really don't like one, just skip it.
@Angus: Clicking near the edges of the screen will move to another screen (left edge to move father into the house, right edge - the doorway - to exit.)
@Espen47: She's a teenager, so of course she knows everything (as they do, in their minds.) All we fathers go through the period of our children telling us how the world works, because we're old and don't know anything. ;)
@KCat: Collision Damage is how much damage the droid does when it collides with a boss or other damage-able thing on the screen. There are some droids that are for staying close you you and shooting (and, probably more importantly, absorbing shots that would hav hit you) and some droids that are for rotating farther away in a whirling wall of death. (Just tried three Swallow Bot V4's and they are very useful, allowing you to "attack" from the sides of the boss when needed.)
Also, once you have Agility 3 and Stamina 3, you don't run out of breath while holding SHIFT to sprint. It's nice to be able to sprint all the way back from the far end of the map to the starting location to leave the area.
For Challenge mode "instructions", click the CONTROLS at the top right, next to the Q and the speaker. That will cause the controls for each mini-game to be shown in the upper-left of each mini-game.
@Zenos82: If you've "run out of workers", then go back and ramble in areas. You'll often find one or a few people to fill (now empty) slots in your team. Also, if you've had people go to the Camp, you can go there to add them to your team. In either case, you walk up to the person and click on them; wait a second or two for the talk bar to fill up, and it'll give you the option to have them go to the camp or join your team. (If you tell them to join your team when it's full, it'll tell you that you're full and they'll go to the camp instead.)
@Blank06: It *does* autosave when you complete each mission. It didn't save for me the first time I played, but I hadn't set the Flash local storage settings to Unlimited. Once I did that, it has saved fine. As with any Flash game, make sure that the Settings: Local Storage is set to Unlimited, and that you don't have any security/privacy settings or software that clears your internet files automatically.
@Beetlesoldier4: You can get CPU partners to help you fight. Training Militia at the Shelter portion of the map screen will give you an extra guy or three on some missions in that area. Also, if you have empty spots in your Shelters, when you find a person on a map who you can talk to and add them to your team, they will follow you around for that instance. It can be very handy to have one or two soldiers, rangers, or captains following you to blast zombies with their shotguns and rifles.
You can use turbo in this time also.
