@Windjyin: I believe the starting stamina is based on what you had ended the previous section with. So, do a run where you focus on avoiding unnecessary battles and grabbing as much milk as you can, so you end the section with as much stamina as possible. That should make your starting stamina much higher when you select the following stage in the future.
@lostrose: Walk into the shopkeeper after Leaving his shop, and you'll swap places with him (just like walking into your ranger's pet dog or a charmed opponent.)
Too big. The game's higher than my screen. *Luckily*, the main game window fits; I can survive with having the Facebook/Twitter and Forums links off the top and the ToS and such off the bottom of the screen.
@Ilfirin: Yes, the description says that the "route *to* the adjacent quarter" is cleared and the "threat *in* the quarter" is reduced by 20%. You're attacking monsters along the border of the quarters, so it has an effect in each. It doesn't reduce the threat as much as attacking the largest group in the quarter (20% vs 30%) but it does help reduce the danger.
@sam2: I found that the defensive tower weapons (ballista, catapult) work best if you just hold the mouse button in, rather than trying to click to fire. That way, they fire repeatedly, as soon as they are reloaded, and you just have to track the fire around with the mouse. As for the minimap, it just shows you the shape of the area; the locating ability of the Eagle Eyes skill is a radar around you *that only shows up when you press and release Z to turn it on*. I had completed all the areas except the last two quarters when I realized that; I was thrown off by the hold-space-to-stand-still and the hold-shift-to-run, so I thought I had to hold Z, which just gives you the minimap. It wasn't until late, when I accidentally bumped Z, and saw the radar overlay it gives you.
Yeah, seems to be an issue at least with the Insanity awards. I tried the "No enemies killed" and the "5 launches at Min" and both times, the coin counter at the top left showed the correct 25k increase at the end of the run, but when I entered the store, the 25k was not applied to my available balance.
Aace85, walk your first robot onto the platform just to the left of the Time Pod, wait there for a moment, then return to the Time Pod. With your next robot, move right onto the green button to open that platform while the first robot is standing on it. The first robot will drop into the pit and be unable to return to the Time Pod, creating the Paradox.
@Pykrete: After you melt the ice and grab that one, the inuit runs over and baits the hook by the water; attack that pole to flip the bait into the water.
@myself: Someone mentioned "red missions" and it does look reasonable. There are 16 red missions, shown first on the missions page, and then the rest under them are green missions. And I have 8 of the 16 red missions done. So do the red missions and you'll get a perk for each one - got it.
Where do the perks come from? sotlat mentions armor, which I have, but I don't have the others (MRE, Salvation, Fireproof spray.) I have 8 of the 16 slots, but there wasn't any indication that I had earned them; they just showed up occasionally.
Strategy Guide button... *clicks, Armor Games page opens* "Coming Soon". Anyway, two big tips: 1) You can use WASD in addition to arrows to move, and buy HP potions early, as the price scales up.
Why do so many players do not read the descriptions for abilities? everything is written there! ;)
