The last one was more challenging, and honestly I didn't like the "match the shapes" aspect, as when one stream was moving really fast or two streams crossed, you couldn't see which one was which.
Can we kill the annoying screetchy scratchy sound track? I was trying to watch something else and had this in another tab (only as far as coach 3, I believe, fighting the cultist) and thought my headphones were on the fritz.
Aside from all of the NPCs having skills and powers I could never get (this is including a Dark Wood guy who had the Raise Special special ability, which is a burning sands(?) clan-only special!) Or a mage who cast 20 (twenty!) high attack bolts at me at the same time. I can only get to 15 and was unable to locate any skill or item that would have raised that.
Also, I'm annoyed that the game ended in month 8 of year 221, not month 12, jipping me out of the #1 rank spot (I was #2).
Bread + Butter + Cat = Making a flying machine lighter? Ok, I get the joke, but seriously, how on earth was I supposed to figure that out? Or what about the bird-gramaphone? Hell, almost everything post peninsula made no sense.
Do any of the battle cups contain monsters of even mildly challenging level? Once I had stats roughly equal to the monsters in the bronze cup stage (that is, 30s or so) I was steam rolling *everyone* because their stats never went up. Nothing can hit me, and if they do, they do almost no damage (40 is nothing to my 250 especially when I have double or better their HP). The *only* status effect I'm concerned about is Poison because it does 6.6% of my total health four times and doesn't seem to ever miss (that is, the attack always inflicts the status).
I'd actually like to design a few levels for your next game. koobeenz made a comment about how drones are useless, but I can think of one change to drones that would make them "easier to use" as well as a way to make them the only viable option.
So I love how the starting melee weapon is listed as doing 7 damage, but actually does 1. :| Great way to get myself killed by the third area (on Run and Gun, no less).
Once I started losing because of some unexplained inability of mine to have had the right matchup against the league, I had negative money. Once I had negative money I was unable to recruit, win fights, conquer cities for more income, and generally do nothing but keep losing.
I swear you regenerate health faster than you take damage....I've only lost twice in 14 levels (most recent was on level 14 where I stood still until my health was at 1/3rd just to see if I could survive from that, got about half way through the mission).
Hmmm... Noted with thanks :) We will try to balance up the game!
